Should I count Painting my Bedroom?
I have my burn meter set to sedentary because although I am very active (working out 1-2 hours daily) I like to be as accurate as possible with my burn meter. Today and tomorrow I am painting my bedroom which will take probably about 6 hours total because I am doing it alone (although I will keep track of that when I'm doing it). My question is, should I add painting under my activities or no? Also there are two types of painting, one burns around 160 calories an hour and the other is in the 250 range I believe...Which should I choose if I am to count it?

Thanks in Advance!
yes! when i was still logging, i loved household projects, because they usually take several hours and add up to lots of calories. it's a great boost, and will make you feel better if you don't find the time to squeeze in regular "exercise."
i would say that if you're doing all the prep work (filling holes, sanding, taping, etc.) go with the higher number; if you're just using a roller and brush, go with the lower.
Well if your set to sedentary and are very active daily, then absolutely and I hope your eating back all your calories....including your other activites.
I don't eat back all of my calories, as I am still not at my goal weight (112). I usually have about a 500 deficit daily, eating anywhere between 1250 calories (that's if I don't work out) and 1700 calories (very high burn days). I make sure to never have over 1000 cal deficit but usually it's between 3 and 500 these days. Thanks so much!
