A Couple Weight Loss Questions.
I'm currently 165 lbs and I'd like to go down to 125 lbs by May or June.
I currently eat about 1,200-1,500 calories a day, I just normally have that kind of an appetite, I do not drink pop and I have cut down on the amount of sugars and fats I take in too. I feel really happy about my diet, it's just my work out I need work on now. My workout routine is swimming for 1 hour, then stationary bike for twenty minutes, and some light weight training for half an hour. My goal is I'd like to burn about 1.5 or 2 lbs a week, do you think that will work with my work out routine?
The only other thing I'm concerned with is I don't want to loose much of my curvy figure. I've always bounced around 10-20 lbs since junior high but I was always a full C cup except bouncing from a 34 to a 36. It wasn't until the past 5 or 6 months I suddenly went up to a large D almost DD, and that was only from gaining about 10 or 15 lbs. When I loose weight, will I go back down to my original C cup, or will I loose even more? If It matters at all, large busts run in the family.
To calculate your energy requirements (assuming you're over 21) use the CC calculator, setting your activity level to 'very active' of you do an average of more than an hour a day exercise. Leave the goal date blank and you should get a reasonable intake target. 1200 will be too low for you.
How your figure changes is something you can't really control. Since breast tissue is mostly fat it's normal for breast size to reduce to some extent when people lose body-fat elsewhere. If you increased weight and increased breast size it would be logical to assume that the reverse will happen.
from personal experience.... I have lost around 60lbs and i went from a D/DD down to a C.... My bust was the first to go when I lost weight, so I imagine you will lose some but keep in mind if you genetically are designed to have a C cup they will not shrink to an A. :)
Oh thank god lol, I had several people before tell me I'm going to go down to a B, and they'll be like dramatically different looking.
On that note too, when it comes to sports bras, I bought I a medium impact one that was recommended for light work outs, but I still have some bounce in there when I move around, is that normal? I've never worn a sports bra before and some people tell me they shouldn't move at all and others say that it's normal.
a bit of bounce is ok. If it is uncomfortable or you want it to be less i recommend wearing two sports bras.... I know that sounds really weird but thats what I did and it gave me that extra bit of support I needed.
