Ya thats a good idea. Thanks primadonna9396 . I got some from the Food-Coop. They are 130 cal for 13 cracker with 2.5gm of fat. How does that sounds? Other ideas?

By the way I had those rice crackers already...and didn't run to buy them rightaway..:P...but your suggestion reminded me of them.
I have some kashi whole grain crackers, 130 per serving. They're awfully good. I try not to buy anything from a box, but these crackers are one of my few exceptions.
I second the Kashi crackers.
ive heard the all bran crackers are good, but they arent in canada so i havent tried them. i also agree on kashi. triscuits are really high fiber and whole grain aswell but fewer for the calories.
I've tried the all bran crackers after some people recommended them on here, and they are extremely tasty! And not too bad on the calorie budget. :-)
I really like wasa crackers. I use them to replace bread when eating tuna or chicken salad. Really tasty and crunchy! I'm a texture girl and I love a good crunch!
I tried the all bran crackers and thought they tasted good, but didn't stay with me as long as the kashi ones do. Also, I tend not to do very well with cracker-type things that taste too good.
garlic and parmesan cheeze itz.....duh!

hahaha. those are the best imo. i dont know how they are healthwise cuz i dont have a box, but i know they arent too bad for you. you could get the regular flavor, they have a reduced fat version for those too. its so sad that even the lowest calorie crackers have like 10 calories...for one cracker. i hate hate hate hate hate that so much. if someone could make a lower calorie cracker, theyd be rich.
Hi guys :),

There are also Vegetable Thins, which are only like 80 cal. per serving (14 crackers), I think that's reasonable, no? I don't eat them just because I limit myself too much, and I know it, but I think those are a good choice health-wise.
Saltines of course!
13 calories per cracker.
Their only negative is that they are high in sodium (unless you get low-sodium, but then its not a SALTine), and they are good with SO many things!

Saltines and soup!
Saltines and Cheese!
Saltines and any type of meat/meat-sub!
Mini Saltine cracker Sandwich!
Saltines and chilli!
Saltines broken on a salad!

Saltines are almost like a comfort food for me.

Favorite Crackers ...

All Bran Garlic Herb Crackers (18 for 120 calories)

Triscuit Garlic Herb (6 crackers for 120 calories)

Reduced Fat Cheez-Its (29 crackers for 130 calories)

Quakers Quakes Mini Rice Cakes (10 mini cakes for 70 calories)

Favorite Breads ...

Alvarado Street organic. sprouted Flax seed bread (50 calories a slice)

Oroweat Light Multigrain Bread (40 calories a slice)

Thomas' Light Multigrain English Muffin (100 calories per muffin)

=^..^= MOLLY

Triscuits Thin crackers and Melba Crackers. :)

I love Blue Diamond Naturals- Nut Thins.  Hazelnut is really good. They're gluten free and you get about 16 in a serving.  They taste great with hummus.

Triscuits-Rosemary Garlic are soooo good but have MSG.

Wow!...thats a lot of options...im going grocery shopping tonight...hopefully will pick up something from your suggestions....

Vegetable thins look attractive and so do bran crackers

azndude i too was surprised by how many cal each cracker has...which prompted me to start this string.....

by the way I love cheezits too..:)

Thanks a ton!....we can keep this going..
OMG!  My favorite evening snack was a bowl of white cheddar cheezits and a glass of white wine.  YUM.  and then another bowl, and another glass of wine. and ..... hahahaha
mm.. I am going to try buying those Kashi crackers tomorrow when I go shopping. I like tuna and try to stay away from the bread as much as I can so that might be really good with that..thank you

I also second and third and fourth the All-Bran crackers.  They're amazing.  I like both flavors but like the Garlic/Herb the best.  The multigrain is slightly sweet, which normally I would love (sweet and salty together), and I like this one, too, just not as much as the garlic/herb.  They're awesome.  You can eat a serving of them and not feel guilty.  They're amazing with Laughing Cow Light cheese or light or FF cream cheese.  Add a fruit and a couple ounces of lean meat (if a meat-eater), and you have a great, quick and easy, light meal.

I tried the Kashi crackers and wasn't impressed at all (and I'm a big fan of some of their other products).  For me, they don't compare to the All-Bran, neither on the label nor on the palate.  I threw out over 3/4 box after they got stale.  :-)

ok..I tried the Kashi 7 grain crackers...mmm..delicious and wonderful with plain tuna and some cucumbers....thanks for telling us about those.
