I had the weirdest breakfast with great nutritional value this morning that I thought I'd share :)  I went shopping last night so I got tons of new food and was prompted to use up some of the older stuff and add some of the new fun foods...  I had:

  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 carrot, cut into sticks (something I was trying to use up XD)
  • 1/2 tablespoon Maranatha Organic PB (for dipping carrot sticks)
  • 5 black grapes (new food I was excited to eat)
  • 5 Jordan almonds (yes, the candies!  lol, I was so excited about getting these I had to incorporate them into my breakfast)

I input this whole menagerie of foods as a "New Recipe" just to add it all at once and the whole meal gets an "A" believe it or not (and only 185 calories)!  And I got to eat candy for breafast :D  Add in my espresso with sugar and milk and my whole meal was less than 300 cals.

Sometimes I put a few chocolate candied sunflower seeds in my plain yogurt. It adds just enough sweetness & it makes the yogurt rainbow coloured!

Haha, I'm the kinda person that would get a kick out of rainbow colored yogurt also (I actually did make sure that my Jordan almonds were all different colored this morning XD)!

I've been stuck onthe same thing for breakfast and i think its absolutely yummy.  Ive been taking a washington apple (bought the gigantic pack at costco), its like a "________ gold" or something.  Then slicing it super think and taking out the seeds.  Dipping that in Jello Sugar Free Dulce De Leche pudding.  Oh its amazing.

And depending on the size of the apple, its barely any calories at all.  The pudding has 60.  So my breakfast is about 160, plus my two cups of coffee with organic creamer and I am under 200 calories.  Yumm yumm....

that sounds like an awsome breakfast minus the jordan almonds. Im not a big fan of those.but id take the sunflower seeds anyday. my breakfast is sooo boring. Usually its just a multigrain mini bagel or a light multigrain english muffin and a cup of coffee or apple. not too exciting. probably y i splurged and got a muffin from dunkin 2day lol. i didnt let myself eat the whole thing though that would have been a bad thing.

Breakfast for me is 27 ounces of water, 1 pack of oatmeal (flavored, around 160 calories), and half a tablespoon of pb!

Mix the peanut butter into the oatmeal, and oh lordy is that heavenly. I know it sounds icky, but it's so good. Especially with the banana bread oatmeal mmm.

Whole thing around 220 calories.

Well today I just had a fiber on yogart.. But I feel like crap!! Some cold is going around and yeah feel horrible.

But the pudding and the apple sounds awesome!!!!! I bet that would be a great snack to at night.  And it might get the Rockey Mountain Chocolate Factory out of my head!! ha!

whoa baby, my brekkies are like 5x the size! mmm today i had a "bowl of goodness," which is all my food exchanges in ONE BOWL.

1 cup (dry) quaker mulit-grain oat meal made with water&salt

mix ins: 1/2 banana, 2 TBSP chunky pb, 2 tsp. brown sugar, 1 packet splenda

oh, and a glass of silk chocolate.

My breakfast today, was to heat up some roasted chicken from last night and then I broiled some mozzerella over it..

I have huge breakfasts too, compared to you guys!

I usually have a big bowl of oatmeal with skim milk, flaxseed, blueberries, banana, All Bran (for extra fibre), a little brown sugar, and cinnamon for 336 calories.....it is so yummy and filling that I don't need to eat for three or four hours.  : )
