Am I crazy ...

Am I crazy for wanting to wash the dishes before the men arrive to install my new dishwasher so the kitchen won't look so messy even though it would be a whole lot easy just to wait and wash them in the new dishwasher?

What might you be crazy for?

Ha!  I love it!  That's kinda just like the fact that I brush my teeth before going to the dentist for my checkup/cleaning so they won't think I don't take care of my mouth.

haaha i don't think you are crazy! i plan to have a cleaning lady as soon as i can afford it. i have a feeling i'll straighten the place up a bit before she comes to clean :p

but at least i won't have to mop, vacuum, or clean the bathroom :p

No. I always straighten up before my cleaning lady comes... a lot of people do that.

It is good to know that I am not alone in my madness.  I wash my hands before and after brushing my teeth and I always brush and floss before going to the dentist.  For a while I would straighten up the house before the cleaning lady came but I got over that, however if I still had her I probably wouldn't need a new dishwasher.  But the pizza boy, he can wait outside.

My boyfriend's mom insists that everyone picks up their mess before the cleaning lady gets there. We always have to wake up early to do it (I sleep there a lot). I always think "what is she paying the cleaning lady for?"

I have cleaners come in every day (one of the perks of living in a hotel) and I always do the washing up before they get here. I wouldn't want to wash up strangers' dirty plates so I figure they probably don't either...

I would want to do them, but i would also want to use my new dishwasher straight away too so i would probably put them in a plastic basin and put them out of site somewhere.....

They still haven't delivered my dishwasher so I've had to wash dishes many times since Friday.

I always brush & floss before the dentist in case I have bad breath... you're going to have your mouth open for at least 20 mins!

I usually wash my hair before I get a haircut, even though they always wash it again when I get there. I have curly hair so I want to give the hairdresser an idea of what my curl looks like!

Ha-- there's a Simpsons episode where Marge wins a housecleaning so she goes through the entire house BEFORE the maids come to clean.  By the time they get there, her house is spotless.

Ha ha!  I wash my hair before I get a haircut too, but not because of curls.  I just don't think they'd want to put their hands in my icky unwashed hair!
