"Crock Pot" Pot Roast (Yankee Style) Recipe

Makes 4 servings


easy dish a 2 pound roast makes about four servings Cooking liquid is not added in the ingredents liquid for a 2 lb. roast was 1 cup beer 1 can beef broth and l packet french onion soup mix I made a grvey with corn stach out of the cooking liquid you may need more salt and pepper to taste

Ingredients
1 cup carrot, large dice
1 cup onion, large dice
1 cup potato, large dice
11 cup turnip, large dice
16 oz chuck roast, fat trimmed and removed
2 cup gravy
Directions
  1. Place all vetables at bottom of crock pot

  2. place meat on top of vegtables

  3. Sprinkle French Onion Soup Mix Over every thing

  4. Pour Beer and Broth on top of that

  5. Set Crock pot on low Go to Work or to bed will be done when you come home

  6. Enjoy
