Everyone I have served this to, whethey they have been on a diet or not have loved this! And it's very easy to prepare!
Chicken Stroganoff - Crockpot Method
1 pound frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can 50% fat free cream of mushroom soup
16 oz carton fat free sour cream
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
2 284 mL cans mushroom piece and stems
Put frozen chicken in bottom of crockpot. Mix soup, sour cream, onion soup mix, mushrooms and pour over chicken. Cook on low for 7-8 hours.
Makes 6 servings.
Approximate calories: 350 per serving. (I tried to post this under the recipes, but for some reason it wouldn't analyse it for me. Help anyone?)
(serve it over rice or egg noodles I use no-yolks egg noodles, more healthier and lower in calories, but be sure to add the calories)

It's OK I think I found my problem with the analyser on a post on calorie-count.com. Thanks anyway.
Hope you enjoy my recipe! :)
Whenever you have a problem getting an ingredient to register on the analyzer, report it to the site administrators and be sure to give a link to the ingredient in question.
There are a number of ingredients, mostly prepared and canned foods, where the serving size is "1 can" or the like. That isn't recognized by the analyzer. The "contact us" link can be found on the Home Page.

Thanks clairelaine for helping me out here!
I forgot to tell you that it's a tasty sounding dish. I don't use canned soups because of the sodium, but I have a substitute called "cream of anything soup" made from a mixture of powdered milk, flour and seasonings, to be mixed with water and substituted for canned cream soup. As soon as I get the recipe into the analyzer, I'll post it.
This sounds really good! Now if only I had enough sour cream on hand!
athena-pls make sure kitten is out of the way before you start!
