Crockpot Chile Verde Recipe

Spicy, yummy pork stew with tomatillos.

Ingredients
1 Onion; coarsely chopped
1 Bell pepper, green; coarsely chopped
4 Garlic cloves; minced
1 tbsp Olive oil
4 oz can Green chile
14 g jalapeno; diced
7 Tomatillos, diced
2 lb Pork, lean; trimmed & cubed
2 tsp Oregano
2 tsp Sage
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Red pepper flakes
Directions
  1. Sautee the onion, bell pepper, and garlic in the olive oil. Dump into crock pot. Add tomatillos and jalapeno.

  2. Brown cubed pork in same pan as was used to sautee the onion mixture. Add pork to crock pot. Cook on low for three hours, or until desired consistency (pork will be easy to shred).
