Crockpot Troubles

Quote  |  Reply
I think my crock pot is too hot. Even on the warm setting it burns food if I leave it on while I am at work for 8 hours. Is there anything I can do?

This happened to my mom - her crockpot would get too hot even on the lowest setting.  It's basically faulty wiring, and unfortunately there's really nothing you can do but buy another one, or if it's still under warranty, see if you can get a replacement.
buy another one from the same store. take the defective one back in the new box with the new receipt and get your money back. tell them your not satisfied with it and there isn't anything wrong with the crockpot. to the store it looks like this is the one you just bought!
agreen, I can't agree with your method, but I do think defective products can be returned and money refunded.  If a product is defective the manufacturer needs to know about it.  What if the store were to put that used crockpot on the shelf for someone else to buy?  There are consequences to someone sometime down the road.

What I would do is look up the company on the internet and figure it out from there,
