Crud! My first weight routine and my back is screwed!
Hi all! I decided to add some weight training to my routine. I'm a newbie so I got myself a dvd and a couple of 6lb. dumbells. I did the stretchy warm up thing on the dvd and I can't recall which move it was but my lower back on the right side totally got a big twinge in it. I tried a few more moves but gave it up. I hear that the worst thing for a back is to sit around so I've been movin but I feel like a little old lady with my hand on my back walking around with a kink in it. Ha ha...I'm only 31!
I felt so focused but probably didn't have the correct movement. How frustrating! I go to do something good and now I'm all screwed up. I feel like steam rolling over that stupid dvd.
You need to rest and ice your back. Also take some Advil for the pain. From one old lady to another
