I am 46 years old, and have been a type I diabetic for 42 years. I was just diagnosed with IBS.  I am also a runner.  Oh joyful, it's been an intersting ride with the recent pain; not to mention the need for bathroom breaks (fortuantley I run on a treadmill so I'm not out somewhere in publc not knowing my way to a bathroom!).     The eating issue had me a bit frazzled.  My diet was very regular and worked for my diabetes.  Now I'm told not to eat dairy; yogurt is a big part of my diet, so I'm going to have to go in search of soy yogurt and hope I like it.

They THINK you have diabetes?  Did they do a blood-sugar on you?  and/or an AIC?
