Hey all!

I was just wondering if you are on the higher side of sodium intake, if you drink lots of water.. does that help flush the salt out of your system?? Just curious!

Thankssssssssssss

That's what I have always been told.
be carefull not to drink to much water it can flush out too much not just sodium I know it can make you have seizures (not meaning to scare you or anything). Please be carefull!
Oh well i am not even coming close to what i should be drinking. But i do know that i eat too much sodium, and i've heard somewhere that water helps with the sodium intake.
Yep, water is definitely the thing to increase if your sodium intake is high. It may seem paradoxical, but drinking more water will make you retain less water weight.
Now, that's not a quick solution to downing a bag of potato chips or somethin'.  But I find if you're on a budget and live a life of TV dinners and Ramen noodles, adding a little extra water tends to not make the water weight hang around when you're on the scale in the morning.

I find it's also helpful to drink a little more water when you're on your period if you're feeling bloated.

Why do you spread this crap. A person cannot drink too much water unless they are forcing themselves to swallow huge amounts of it at once. I'm talking drinking contests where people chug gallons.

A normal person is never going to drink too much water because as his or her body gets hydrated, his or her taste for it will naturally go down. Even if a person forces his/herself to drink 1 or 2 glasses of water at this point they are not going to do any worse harm than give themselves a bellyache.

feanor wow it sounds like I hit a sore spot with you. Actually a person can drink too much water and deplete their systems I will say it isn't a common thing but it is possable I have seen it done. Water is a good thing but like too much of something can sometimes be bad. Wasn't trying to piss anyone off just a friendly warning.
