if you have curly hair, do you straighten it?
if you have straight hair, do you want curly??
just curious!!
I don't have either, I guess you could call it kind of wavy except the hair likes to wave in different directions and is a poofy, frizzy mess, especially when it's humid. So I straighten it. But out of the two, I like straight.
I have curly hair, always have. I wanted straight hair when I was younger. My daughters loaned me their straightner so I could go straight. I look so different. I liked it, but curly is so much easy to go with. When I go t have my hair cut the hairdressers always commnet how wonderful my curls are. Most females pay to have the curls I do. I am learning to love my curls as I am learning to tame them.
I have wavy hair but I think both look great. Sometimes I make it curly or sometimes I'll blow dry it out to make it straight. I feel bad for the girls that have really straight hair or really curly hair and can never go the other way, it seems like they always want the opposite hair type.
But I tend to really love curly hair now though, not fake curls with a curling iron which I do sometimes, but natural curls. My friend has them and its awfully cute. I love how it curls from the roots, you can't do that with a curling iron.
I have naturally curly hair. I straighten it if its not raining out & there's not humidity. I was born with curls. It's my destiny. Hubby likes it straight, it just takes so much effort & time.
i have curly hair &i LOVE it!
i remember this one time i straightened it, by the second i ran right into the shower to get it wet because i TOTALLY missed my curly hair!
I have straight hair, but it looks great with big, loose curles at the bottom. (at least when I have it long. I cut it so it's short now.)
For the most part I'll put styling gel in it, wrap it up in a towel, and brush it out when it's almost dry. It leaves behind some tolerable waves that I'll pull back into a hair tie.
My daughter got her dads very curly hair, making her even more adorable to me. As a teen, she began straightening and it broke my heart - all those beautiful curls smooshed flat. Each summer though, I get her portraits done - all curls and low on the makeup please.
She has learned to work with products to play up her curls but her preference is straightening and boy do I know the smell of hair after its been straightened. Guess Im in no position to talk since Ive not seen my own naturally straight hair in over 30 years.
really really really straight, wont-curl-to-save-its-life straight hair...
its good because i just get out of the shower, brush and thats it...but it does get boring....it wont hold a french braid, much less any time of curling-iron curl...
so its either down or in a pony
mine used to be SPIRAL curls. i've straightened it every day for like 2-3 years. now whenever i try to wear it curly it doesn't curl right :'(
Agreed!

One thing I'm looking forward to is using my hair straightener that I bought in Germany. When I came home and used my original one, it sucked in comparison, even though the new one was kinda cheap (40euros). It makes my hair so smooth and flat, and stays that way for days, my original doesn't get it that straight and by the next day it's wavy again. I'm so annoyed by it I haven't straightened my hair in months...just tie it up or braid it. I think I will buy a transformer when I go to Europe so I can just use it at home, I don't feel like trying to find one I like here.
i do it straighten it,
but i tend to alternate between curly and straight.
i wish my hair was straight all the time, though.
I have straight hair and I love it! I think curly is cute sometimes, but I prefer my hair straight.
