I'm 27 and have been at Curves since July. I have lost inches but not pounds and feel that I have developed some muscle. I was just wondering what other people have experienced at Curves in terms of building muscle and losing weight. I'm not sure it is enough for me since there are just resistance machines and you can't add weights. Thanks!
i was a curves member years ago and i actually stopped going because i gained weight. (and i was like 30lbs thinner than than i am now)
it might have just been muscle as i didnt change my diet at all - but i quit anyway!
I lost 60 lbs (40 lbs at one point, then another 20 lbs later) by going to Curves. I don't think I gained much muscle, just improved my fitness a bit. It's a good beginner exercise to get someone used to a gym atmosphere but I wouldn't recommend it long term.
