Quote  |  Reply
Ok some of you that stopped by my journal know but I need help!  Im going to cut my hair and donate to Locks of Love before the end of Jan.  This is something I promised to do once I lost all my weight last year and didnt do it.  I told myself I would do it before the end of Jan. and after visiting the Childrens hospital last week- there is no turning back!

SO I need ideas people!  I have not had short hair since I was 18 and I will be 31 in May so this is tough for me and hubby- he is addicted to my hair! LOL

So I need pics, ideas...anything!!!! help!

I haven't tried it yet but this may help
oops, weirdness.
*scratches head*
Ive done those and I look really freaky with them LOL

thanks though.  :)

here is one Im thinking about

if you have pictures of yourself with shorter hair, you can use that as a basis of what you want or don't want in your new cut.
plume- I had it cut up to my chin and all one length.  It was horrrible! LOL I know I dont want that! Its the only time I had short hair in my life.  When I measured 10 inches, it will be right at my shoulders so It wont be too short.
so, you know you don't want it all at the same length ---> ask for some light layering
amy...the one you have noted in post No. 4 is very cute.  I think you'd look great with it.  That's the length of my hair, however, it is VERY fine so I don't get that kind of body.  I think you would.

Good luck!
i've used www.thehairstyler.com before. You have to pay for it, but it isn't very much to just get a 1-month membership so you can play around and try things out.
p.s. i do really like the one that you posted in #4 too - it's hot!
that may be the one.  Just waiting for Jasons reaction LOL.

It could work for me easily because I have lots of hair- not too thick but LOTS of hair!

its just hard trying to find a style and picture it with my haircolor.

FYI- I put up a pic of the kids in my pics.
Rylee looks totally like her mama.
LOL we call them our mini twins. :)
pic in #4 looks awesome and I think it will look nice with your haircolor too.  Do you have a regular hairdresser you trust?  I think that is important...and if not, splurge and go to a good place.  I go to an Aveda salon and it cost me $32 for a wash & cut...(I only go 2 or 3 times a year)...but they do awesome, get a little head massage with it, freshen up my makeup, show me how to style it and they use plant products, not tested on animals...it's worth it.
I used to when I lived in NC but now I go get trims at the mall.  I know they do locks of love and there is one girl there I think could do this for me.  She has styled my hair before and it looked great!

32 bucks still isnt bad- I paid $60 in NC but 18 now.
ok I just talked to a friend that is a hairstylist and she thinks I can pull it off easily!

So I think thats the one I will go with! :)

Just waiting on hubby! LOL
ok TODAY IS THE DAY!!!!!! I will post before and after pics when I get home!

I am sooooo Nervous!
*bites nails while waiting for photos*

*Waits unpatiently*
