Cute female kitten names?

I've been trying to come up with some cute names I could use if I end up getting a kitten like I've been hoping to!

If you were getting one, what would you name it?  What cat names have you used?

I haven't picked a kitten yet so it's hard to know what name will fit, but I know it will be a girl, and I just want to get some ideas going =) 

So far I've had cats named: Dewey (yes, she's a girl =P), Meko, Meow Zedong, Tiny Chum, Peaches, Patches, Tiger, Fluffy, Stubby, Mandy, Honey, Lauren, Amber, and Precious.  So something other than those would be awesome!

I'm extremely picky with pet names, and put a lot of thought into it. For the love of god, if it's black, don't call it Blackie (pet peeve -_-) no offense to people but unless you're like 5, be more creative (that would go for Fluffy and Tiger too :P). My boy cat I named Alomar, after Roberto Alomar because he has extra toes and his paws looked like baseball mitts to me (this was when I was 11 or 12). So I would wait until you actually get it to decide on a name :)

I love Tiger for a male cat...but for a cute girl cat I like Kitty or Fluffy...

 

My cats are girls and they're both named after liquor.  I think it's adorable.

My dad named our cat Killmouseki, but it gets shortened to Mouseki which is pretty cute.

 

I have some fish called Pip Blackie ans Sparky which could work for a cat too i guess :)

I love my kitty names: Calypso & Circe (from Greek Mythology).  Other names I've used are: Smitten (as in Smitten the Kitten), Splashes, Shadow, Sasha, and Bear.

We have a beautiful Himalayan named Ratface.  Her real name is Trinity, but DH started calling her Ratface and it just stuck.  Poor thing.  We also have a long-haired Calico named Lexie.  I've also had Bunny, Marshmallow, Cookie, Sophie, Mocha, Lucky, and Hershey.  Honestly, though, Ratface has become my favorite name. 

My female cats growing up were Lola and Rizzo.

I like waiting until I get the pet before I name them. When I adopted my dog, I went to the shelter planning to adopt a male, 8 year old Cocker Spaniel. I had my name picked, got there and the name didn't suit him. He was also insane so I didn't adopt him.

My suggestion is to wait until to meet the cat so you can see the personality.

Ah Alibsam says it so well.  Sometimes it is best you wait until you have your pet.  I have a havanese (dog) which I named Gabby, but after having him around for a while and how he plays with raising his paws; his name is now Gabby Paw Paws.

We had a maine coon cat which we named farfelonus, short fefe or farfy, another that was smokey gray, called him smokey or mokey, then a black cat we named spook because of him always jumping near where you were sitting.

I had a kittie named Tabitha Jane.  The next cat I get will be Roxy Lee.  I have a thing for middle names for pets :)

Various cat names I've had: Kimba the Black Kitty, Jingles Lyn, Kelley, Butter Rum, Moon, Salt, Mr. Kitten, Cubs, Vapor, Hank, Pretty, Bengal, Tag, Tiger.

I agree with alibsam, too.  I don't name my pets until I have them, and even then their names sometimes change.

Whiskey and Vodka weren't supposed to be that, but their personalities are a lot like the drinks and so are their colours (Vodka's more white, Whiskey's more auburn).

My bunny, Gauze, is usually just called Rabbit.  :|  Gauze suits her look, but she's just Rabbit unless she's been naughty.

You do want to check out their personality but here are some of my favorite cat names
