Cutting minimizing muscle loss

Quote  |  Reply

I am planning to cut a little the next week, I have been gaining for three months, and have also gained some fat, specially in the stomach area, I will take spinning sessions next week, and continue with me lifting weight program.

I am planning to cut my calorie intake in 300 cals from my minimum requirement, according to CC, (I have it set to sedentary).

I will do that for a week, but I would like to know what should I do to minimize the loss of muscle, that I hardly gained (I am ecto)

any advice?

thanks,

Guillermo.

Lift heavy in order to prevent muscle loss. I would recommend 8-12 reps. Also get enough protein in your diet. 1-2 g of protein per kg of body weight best spread out in small portions throughout the day, for example every 3 hours.

Thank you very much!

I will do that, and let you all know how it was :)
