D.C. Meet-Up Oct 4-Let's Do the Zoo

Just linking to a post in The Lounge. October 4th, some of us are going to go to the Zoo. All are welcome. :) Hopefully we'll see you there (*looks at Dee* ;) )

Oh, that would be cool!  A friend of mine and I might go to the Phillips (sp?) that day.  He's a member, so he can get me in for free.  We thought about hitting the zoo afterward, in the afternoon.  If he backs out, which he might, I will let you know.  I will PM you my cell number, and if you would, PM me yours, and I will call and let you know.  I might not know until Friday night.

Sorry I have been so out of it. My computer at home has been acting up and I hate using this one at work for personal stuff. Anyhoos, I was thinking of....bowling! Would anyone be up for a couple of games of bowl? I thought we could do Lucky Strike in Chinatown. In the day I think the price is $12 for the first game (the price includes shoe rental) and then 7 for the next. I can check the prices again. I am totally up for travelling somewhere more central to everyone. If you know of another bowling alley, please let me know.

The 15th works for me!  :)  The 22nd does also, but I'm thinking the 15th will be a little better because of Thanksgiving.  When does that happen this year?  I always forget.  lol

Either date works for me. The sooner one is picked, the better. I (ALSO) haven't been bowling in a really long time.

Okay then!  We're on for the 15th!  Woot!  I wear 10½ Wide...  I wonder what size I will end up in to get the shoes wide enough for my feet.

I do request that someone who knows how to get there meets me at the metro stop.  I would hate to get lost in Chinatown!  Doh!  I played in Chinatown once a loooooooong time ago.  At a place that is probably closed down now, called the Phoenix One.  I remember it well because my duo partner and I took turns scraping ice off of the inside of the windshield...  What a night!!!  But I digress.

15th, Bowling, Lucky Strike.  Very cool!  :)  Now all we need is a time...
