Daily Chat - Poll

I have a question.....

This site is full of tons of people and yet only a few participate in the daily chat topic at one time. I would like to know how many of you relate to the following -

1. I have never tried that topic
2. I tried it but didn't like the chat
3. I tried it and liked it but left due to my own issues
4. I tried and and liked it but left due to hard feelings and felt "driven" away

Just a little poll I am interested in. Thanks

babyangie...I'm really sorry to hear about your close friends and the battle with cancer...I know exactly what your going through and definately feel for you

However, with that said....one cannot compare one's troubles with another...it's not a contest.  It's not a *wave's hand in air...but I have it worse!!*  Unless you've walked in someone elses shoes....and even then...you really never know what a person is going through.

Actually no, I am not saying "hey I have it worse" because I don't. I have a great life and wonderful marriage. However, I am offended by his accusation of "you people drove me out of chat." People tried to help in chat. Honestly, this is just ridiculous. It's a chat! People are free to talk about what they want to talk about, but that doesn't mean others want to talk to them. But SO WHAT??? It's the same thing in real life. You can say hello to a stranger and he/she doesn't need to say anything back.

Since I'm pretty sure that I, too, am considered a member of the "clique," I suppose I'll add my 2 cents.

I lurked in the chat for quite some time before I jumped in.  In fact, I lurked in the chat before I even had a C-C account.  When I first started replying, I didn't always get responses.  I STILL don't always get responses.  But, chat is not like....this thread, for instance, in which one poses a question and others answer that question.  It just flows through the day.

It can be rather sophomoric and it can be fairly intelligent banter....and sometimes it's both at once.....but that's all it is.  Banter.

I was not there when you were a regular chatter, kipp, so I can't say anything about your feelings of rejection.  What I DO know is that, for the most part, the chat tries to steer clear of heavy duty serious talk, and it sounds like that may have been the case.  Most of us are there while working, and it's there as a "getaway" from work.

Whatever.  It's an online chat. 

All - I am not angry......in fact I am chuckling while writing this.....everyone is missing the point. YOU guys took this poll to where we are now...I just asked a question.

Angie- I am sorry to hear of your pain....but at the same time, I don't think I would EVER tell anyone that I didn't care if they lived or died....except maybe Hitler.........

Funny how you call me childish and yet from the beginning of your posts on this thread, you have been in attack mode.....I was only defending myself.

Angie- moreover, you were not one of the people that attacked me originally....I am not sure why now you feel the need to defend your clique

Kathy - no agenda, just a question.....just curiousity to see who else on the site has felt attacked and left because it was obvious they were not wanted.

That is all, honestly. You guys are all freaking out.....

And Lilly- you are right....I left of my own free will but I left because I felt attacked and unwanted and ignored. So I guess all of you are right.....no one is FORCED out.....but, you treat someone bad enough long enough, they choose to leave....

No one treated you badly, Kipp. Certainly not within my view. You continue to post comments indicating that a group of people have been mean to you, and you expect no response? Regardless of your thinly-veiled attempt at 'taking a poll', it is quite obvious that you do have an agenda.

I think you started this thread specifically so that we would argue with you. I have never been anything but kind to you, Kipp. And that will continue to be my position.
