Daily drinking habits
When was the last time you drank something that didn't have sugar or sweetener in it? (other than water)
What would we drink if not something sweetened with sugar or 'sweeteners'?
other than alcohol, nothing i drink has sugar or sweetener in it. i drink black coffee, water, skim milk (okay, there's a little sugar in there), and clear tea. i don't ever add sugar.
I drink black coffee all morning, but besides that I drink diet soda and iced tea w/ a pack of Truvia.
I drink black coffee and tea daily without adding anything. And, of course, water.
About once a year I'll have a pop (that includes diet pop), an occasional sports drink (once every few months), and about twice a month I'll have sugar free redbull with vodka.
I so rarely drink anything sweetened that I miss-read your post as "when was the last time you drank something that had sugar or sweetener in it?"
just a note...most 100% juices don't have any added sugar. They only contain natural sugars found in the fruit. I don't mind drinking juice. And I don't eat a lot of sugar.
oh, sure, I know that juices don't have added sugar, but the point is, they're sweet. I was more wondering how many people automatically drink something sweet with a meal, or just grabbing something.
I used to drink tons of water - with favored drink sweeteners - like the Crystal Light lemonade and pink lemonade. I just thought it was interesting that many (not all, of course) people order or have something sweet to drink. Since soft drink have become commonplace - 100 years or so, it seems like the thing to do is always drink something sweet. Many people here, and people I know, have lost weight just buy cutting out their soda habit.
Just a curious question, that's all. Most people I know have something sweet to drink 3 or more times a day, and I just wonder how many people are used to it being habit.
Pre-pregnancy, I pretty much drank nothing but strong black coffee, diet soda, sugar-free Red Bulls, and any form of straight alcohol (or beer). Now, I don't think I drink anything besides water or pure fruit juice. (Naked-brand juice is the best!)
I drink tea and coffee with a little milk but no sugar. And I don't drink water with sweeteners, just plain old water! I don't drink juice because I prefer to eat whole fruit. I do drink wine... I'm guessing dry whites and reds have a little sugar, but not much. They don't taste sweet, per se.
