Hello vegans, I come in peace.  I am a vegetarian (trying to become a better one) and one day possibly turn to the vegan side.  how do you people get the healthy amount of nutrients/protein in a day?  have any of you noticed any side affects?  thank youu!!

hi there and welcome- I wish I had a great deal of time right this moment to awe and inspire you with an exact break down of how it is i make sure I get plenty of nutrients and protein but alas....I will say, that avoiding processed foods and  making sure you eat foods with high quality protein is very very important. High quality proteins can be found in dark leafy greens, sea veggies (sea weed- I am a huge fan of Dulse) and some whole grains like quinoa (which I blab blab blab about a lot- but it is so delicious and versatile!) and beans... There are stacks and stacks of resources on the internet, cookbooks galore and such. I am trying to get people to post recipes here- go Iam about to post a tabouli recipe that is delicious and a raw food recipe as well- very nutritious....

 

btw- for me, no side affects to speak of- just improved mood, health, weight management, etc...
