daily weigh in question

Quote  |  Reply

i know that weight fluctuates on a day to day base.

my question is that i started to get up earlier in the day, about an hr earlier and i weigh myself.  every time i weigh myself an hr earlier than normal i gain like 1.4 pounds as apposed to getting up at my regular time.  my question is can i fluctuate that much in an hr?

i have kept my sodium in take to about 2,400 mg.  my fat in take per day has been about 30% of my total calorie intake.  i have been drinking around 32 oz to 42 oz of water per day.  could it be weight gain?

im kinda confused here.  i have been under a lot of stress this week from work so that could be it as well.

im 5'4" and i weigh between 147 and 148.6 depending on the day

Yes, you can fluctuate that much in an hour.  It's perfectly normal.  If you are going to weight yourself every day you should weigh yourself at the same time and under as close the same condition as you can every single day.  If you're inputting your weight daily into CC it will show you a trend line in addition to your weight line.  The trend line factors in daily fluctuations.

Fluctuating less than 2 pounds you're lucky.  Some people fluctuate more than that!!
