Dale's Chili Recipe

This Chili is not too hot. Very moist. Great meal to cook day ahead and store in refer to serve next day. Double recipe for company. Can be served over brown rice or topped with an egg for breakfast.

Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
8 oz diced tomatoes
6 oz tomato sauce
16 oz chili beans
8 oz kidney beans
8 oz light kidney beans
4 oz chopped black olives
4 oz mushrooms
1/2 cup salsa
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 tsp cayene pepper
Directions
Brown ground turkey with half the chopped onions. In a large soup pot, add the rest of the ingredients and cook on a medium low heat. Once turkey is browned, turn on high to cook of extra liquids. Add turkey to soup pot and simmer for two hours.
