Damn popcorn!

Quote  |  Reply

So I just realized I've been misreading the calories/servings in my 94% Fat Free Butter popcorn. I didn't realize there were 2 servings per bag. I still can't fathom how there are nearly 14 cups of popcorn in that darn thing... what a bummer. I thought I was being cost-effective buying the stuff I have instead of the 100 calorie packs, thinking "It's just a measly 30 calorie difference, what does anyone care?"

260 calories is too high to leave me still hungry.

My bad.

Oh man, there's nothing worse than thinking you're being good and then finding out later that you were way off on the actual calories. This has happened to me several times. For example, I ate a full entree at Pei Wei a while back and didn't realize until later that each of their entrees counts as TWO servings, so the calories were double what I thought. Grrr.

Actually dont beat yourself up over it...its done and you cant undo it...I am willing to bet most folks who have counted calories have made errors here and there...I know I have.

The real problem is that they do not put the total calories on the package - I think the "serving size" is a sneaky way to do buisness.

I can divide by whatever - just put how many calories are in the ENTIRE PACKAGE.

that is all...

best regards -
