Dance, Dance Revolution

Does anyone else use this as a form of exercise?  My husband and i do it every now and then, and it really does get your heart rate up...there is even a setting that tells you how many calories you burned during each song.

I haven't done that, but we play donkey konga -- we bought the bongos.  It really wears out your arms.  Dance, Dance revolution sounds like awesome exercise!
I used to do it every day. Heavy level is the best exercise. It helped me lose 20 pounds!
I would log it as dancing - high impact - vigourous, moderate, or light. how ever hard you work.   That game is a lot of fun, I cant do it cause I live upstairs. LOL
Back in highschool. Two hours a day, five times a week. Lost 30-35 pounds in just 3 months while having fun.

I love DDR! =) I don't use it as my only form of exercise though, just once in a while I'll hop on for some Standard/Heavy on endless mode for about 30mins playtime in place of the gym if I feel "lazy". XD

I don't really trust the calorie counter though...it seems to differ with games (I own all the available DDRs for PS2) and to me claims a higher calories burned than what I think is actually true...

I did it last night and it was so much fun.  I did it for like 45 minutes before Survivor came on and I was sweating.  i feel like I burned more calories that what it said but I am not worried about it. I just want to get moving.

Love it! I forget how long I've been dancing cuz its so much fun.
