someone told me dancing at home is a great cardio routine well i did it today and i loved it i just turned the radio on and danced my little heart away for ten minutes i did workout a sweat and i had fun doing it but my lil man started screaming at ten minutes so had to stop so my question is how long should i dance for a good cardio workout to go along with my toning routine of twenty minutes

I have been telling just about anyone who ask for a great cardio work out about my dancing. I dance for an hour. I even dance when i clean or fold clothes. It is really good. You can burn up to 400 to 500 caloried dancing.
I take a dance class at the gym. And the lady told me that we burn like 700 to 800 cals a class. It really does work. It does the job. I have lost now a total of 40 pounds.. With that dancing... Keep up the tunes and dance your ass off..

this is great advice. dancing really is great exercise. plus, it's fun!!
I recommend to try for at least 20 mins, my health teacher told us that unless you keep your heart rate up in its target range for 20 minutes or more you won't burn fat... so I recommend to try for 20 minutes... but any calories burned is better than none right? So dance/any cardio for as long as possible, and just have fun.
