Weight Loss

I got the impression in my original post that some people thought i was practicing an "unhealthy" diet, by not eating enough.
My reasoning is: If i eat 3 squares a day, all light and healthy, What are the risks i'm taking by not eating enough? It is 3 meals a day, and not even close to starving yourself.
Say i take in 1,500 cals a day, and burn around 2,500 - 3,000 cals a day. Am i really putting myself at serious risk for some health issue? And if so, what could happen?

well take me for example, i would eat about 2300 a day, BUT then i would exersize and probably cause a deficent.... over the course of a few weeks i lost more and more lean muscle mass. which nuked my bodys metabolism.
one day of undereating wont kill you, but if it becomes a habbit when your at healtyh weight, thats when its terrible. THE worse thing you can do is burn off your muscle.

Take it from me too. I ended up with heart problems. Be wise. Your calorie deficit should only be about 500-700. YA dartrinton the worst thing you can do is burn off your muscle. YOUR HEART IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST MUSCLES!
This last week I was taking in my regular 1650 calories but since I was doing a great deal of muscle work, moving furniture/scrubbing the area clean/painting walls and ceiling, I had an extra 1000+ calroies to burn each day. I didn't notice a thing until this weekend when I finished the work.
Suddenly I was ravonous and I ate twice to three times the amount of starches and fats I would normally eat, nuts/dried fruits/whole grains. Between my weekly weighin and Sunday morning I had lost half a kilo and by Monday, today, I lost another half kilo. The problem is that I was also having problems with concentration, balance, and lots of back pain (I strained some already damaged joints and muscles). Because of this my food choices were not the best yesterday and the day before.
And that was an unintentional major deficit in calories taken in to calories expended. The emotional and physical downs aren't worth the extreme losses.
