Has anybody had any experience with this?  I bought it from the store by accident, but I am not sure if I want to have it.

I am at work and yogurt is my usual breakfast but I have read in some places that people got stomach cramping or other unsavory side effects.

Can anybody let me know their experience?

There's a light version that I need to make sure I buy since I am on a lo cal diet, but I will say that within the 2 weeks the company promises, regular bowel functions are happening.  this is coming from a twice a monther - yes, that is true.  Since I was a little girl I have been chronically constipated. When I finally went I was so toxic I was throwing up and this was usually a 2 day process of being sick.  After eating this yogurt for a few days, as long as I eat it every day, I go every day and after this long of suffering, I do not plan to ever run out of it.  Even the fiber products and stool softeners didn't work as well as this yogurt did for me.

ALWAYS HURTS- but then again, I've got IBS too...

P.S. Did you know it has TRANS-FATS?? No thank you.
Trans-fats in activia...

i think your mistaken.. i dont think it does. it says it has none plus nothing on the ingrediants list says anything that would contain any .

I tried Activia for about 8 days and ended up getting worse and worse every day. My cramps were so bad that I finally got on the web and looked up sites that discussed side effects. I found plenty of people who experienced the same problem. That's when I knew I would never eat it again. It's too bad because I was really hoping that it would work as advertised, and it probably does for a lot of people. But if you are experiencing stomach cramps, my advice is to toss the Activia. It's been 3 days now since I last ate one and I still have some cramps and bloating. I just hope it goes away soon.

I didn't notice any difference (bathroom/stomach wise) when I ate Activia vs. other yogurts. Maybe I was just used to the general bacteria found in yogurt and didn't react to the unique kind in Activia because my stomach was used to it.

IMO, the best kind of yogurt is organic plain.

Hello, I am a male, 49 years of age. I eat yogurt all the time. I bought Activia 3 days ago. I ate one and for some reason I have suffered bad cramps for the last 3 days. althought on the first day seemed to clean out my system, it tore up my insides. Today is day 4 after eating only one of these yogurts. My stomach still has cramps....

I will never eat this yogurt ever again, and hope that i did not suffer any real damage to my insides. Is this Activia yogurt made for women?  I have read a few storys about the cramping and discomfort to people who have ingested this harmful yogurt. Add me to the list of people who has suffered from the pain and discomfort from this toxic product.

Not a happy camper...............

My mother used to swear by this stuff.  Until she stopped eating it.  That's right, she got constipated.  And she didn't have problems with this before eating activia, but only after.  I think it did something to her insides - lol - can yogurt create dependency?

Speaking of good yogurts, stonyfield organic (plain, full fat, unhomogenized) is the best that is sold in the U.S. in my experience.

I like it. I buy the activia "light" however, its fat free and has 5g fiber in it. I eat it every day at work for a snack!

I read somewhere that all yougurts have the active cultures that Activia brags about, and even in some cases higher quantities of them. It's just regular yogurt, nothing special. Can't recall where that was, though.

Eat an activia yogurt with 1/3 cup of kellogg's bran buds every day and you will never have to worry about irregularity again!Smile

I have had terrible side effects from Activia. I will never eat it again. If you are not sure about it I would not recommend trying it because this cramping and nauseousness are terrible. I have had one small container a day for 5 days. The first few days I was on Mydol for PMS so I thought the nauseousness was due to that. Yesterday I had Activia for my afternoon snack and was sick last night with throwing up and dizziness. Still cramping today and tummy rumbling.

I have been researching online to find more info and have found a few people with the same side effects. for most people it seems to work great. But there is something in this product that is not safe. I can eat normal yogurt with no problems. These side effects are from one tiny carton of Activia. Scary!!!

I tried Dannon Activia on advice from my sister who was a true believer in Activia and I tossed and turned all night long.  When I told her how my night went, she said she has been tossing and turning every since she started taking Activia.  I don't know if this is a side effect, but I am not going to find out.  I stopped eating the yogurt.

I did not expect such thing and I can only agree: I ate 6 in a day (not that much for a man...) and could not sleep the next night. Then the next day I felt slight heart pain. What toxin is in these yogurts ???

My husband and I both used this for two weeks, worked great. But we both stopped eating it and within days we each started having stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, and sharp pains in our chests. This is the only food my husband and I both ate so I know this was a side affect. Has any one else had this happen?

Your sharp pains in your chests are heart pain. I wouldn't be surprised that a strong toxin in these Activia yogurts causes some temporate arrhythmia. I got the same kind of pain albeit mild.

I bought it for the reason it is for and I as well had the stomach cramps and having to go to the bathroom..dealt with it for about a week thinking it could be like some things your body just has to get use to but it didnt get better...and that was back in feb. I just found out I have IBS so I dont think it really helped it out any...=)
