The Dark Knight
I can't even talk about it. Too good. I will go see it numerous times I'm sure. Anyone else seen it? (dumb question) Let's share your thoughts on it. Aaand Go!
i think that im gunna goo c it tomorrow if i get the chance
ive heard its good... hav u seen hulk?
I have. Doesn't even compare if that's what you're wondering. It was alright tho.
i know...the movie was sooo awesome...i lovvvee Christian Bale...and Joker was super creepyy!! i loved it...
My bf got a hair up his a** and had to go see it on opening night (or should I say morning) at midnight. They had 5 screens showing at the theater in the town over from where we live. We left an hour before it was suppose to start and all 5 screens were sold out! So....he drove like a bat out of hell to next town over (a 30 minute drive) and got the last 2 seats, way down in the front row. Sore necks and dry eyes, I'm not a huge Batman fan...It was 3 am before we got home. Arrg...the things we do for our men.
I do love Heath Ledger though. He did an awsome job with the character. Will miss him :(
Amazing five stars, definitely going to see it again in the theaters.
I was one of those people that was insanely hyped up for this movie. As in, counting down the days & all...
now I've realized that I can't bring myself to see it. Heath was my favorite actor. FAVORITE. & I won't be able to watch it without sobbing, & I'm not trying to do that in a public theater.
10 Things I Hate About You was just on tv yesterday & I figured I'd watch it- ended up sobbing. I dunno, I'm just not ready yet. I know it's gonna be fantastic though. hopefully I can get over this.
Im with you Star. Im not sure I can see it either. I loved heath. Absolutely adored everything he did. He and my father both passed on the same day. Which I find Ironic. My father loved him as an actor too until he did Brokeback mountain. After that Daddy swore he would never watch another heath ledger movie again. Yeah I know but what do you do, he was a preacher.
I have wanted to see the movie since I first heard about it. But, Im not sure I can watch heath and not think of daddy. Im also not sure the last memory I have of Heath I want to be of him as the Joker. Its a roll that ultimatly caused his death. He got so caught up in that roll he couldn't sleep. The Pshycologist in me wants to see it. I want to see if I can find out what it was Heath must have been experiancing that caused his inablity to sleep. But, the normal person in me says come on stop trying to be your mother, analizing everything and stay away. Its just to macabe to go see.
Last night we went to see Wall-E and The Dark Night was opening at the same theater. I have never seen so many nerds in my entire life. People got limo rides there and wore capes.

haha that's great. I went to the midnight opening of POTC 3 & we were literally the only people there that weren't dressed like pirates... & talking like pirates too... it was intense, to say the least haha.
I hate superhero movies, and long movies, but this was one of the best films i've seen in a while. The acting was dramatic at points, but incredible, nonetheless.
And Heath...wow. What a performance. He stole the show, for sure. It's just so tragic that he passed away. We lost an incredibly talented artist.
i might have nightmares tonight
it doesn't come out here (UK) till next week but I wont be seeing it anyway, it looks good but im not interested. unless you all change my mind
I guess I am the odd one out.. I hated it. It was way too long, and very predictable (don't hate me!). I couldn't stand 'The Batman Voice'. Although, I gotta admit I thought Heath was amazing - so sad he's gone.
However, yes, the "Batman Voice" is quite annoying, it is long, and there are some strange, obvious flaws (i.e. Morone standing without a cane for one; camera goes out of focus on a bunch of pans).
However again, the interactions between Bruce Wayne/Harvey Dent/The Joker were my favorite parts; also thought the score was nearly perfect in preparing and setting-up the audience for what was in store.
Four out of five stars, for whatever one of my stars is worth.
The batman voice was annoying however, I must agree. Also, I've always found the batman costume the most amusing of the superhero costumes. I think its the ears.
I was never a huge Heath Ledger fan either, simply because of all the heart throb rolls he played. He was wonderful in Brokeback Mountain, but nothing could top the Joker. Wish he played more villain roles. AAAAmazing.
Ahh it was AMAZING! I saw it twice! (but sadly it wasn't as good the second time..) But still it was good, and I realized what made the movie so amazing, HEATH LEDGER!! ahhhhhhhh he stole the show from everyone.
