Dark Knight

This past week I finally saw the Batman flick.

I wished I hadn't heard so much about it before I saw it.  Probably would have liked it more.

As it was, all the talk about we have to break the rules to protect people which was in reality slightly lame dialogue, seemed a lot more like crap propaganda for a wannabe-Batman President Bush.

That said, I thought the acting was really good, very comic-book-y especially Heath Ledger.  And the special effects were especially good because they just added to the movie without distracting you from the movie.  Also, I want a bat-mobile with an emergency-detachable motorcycle!

I caught this day of release.  ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!    Yes, Christain Bale, is the main character and star, but the cast is fantastic!  I am sure Heath Ledger will receive an Oscar posthumously, unfortunately.  He played the Joker to the hilt and made the character his own.  Even when he says, "Hello"; it is so creepy.  "You complete me!":  What a line taken from "Jerry McGuire" of all things!  The struggle between good and evil is classic movie making.  A must see for all comic book fans.  The special effects were on par.  The new batsuit, batmobile and gadgets - superb.  On my must see list again!
