She is 7 and asked if she could workout with me and I was thrilled.  Thought she might last 5 minutes but no the kid did the whole thing!  She actually had pretty good form too and really enjoyed the time with Mommy.  Afterward she said "That Kicked my Butt Mommy".  I had to chuckle!

She asked if she could join me tonight and we shall see how she does.  Great bonding time and just her and Mommy, her Sister (5) had no interest whatsoever - she is the Princess big time!

Haha, that is so cool! I remember doing calestinics (sp??) with my Mom all the time when I was little. I'd keep up too....but it was hard not to laugh at the 70's and 80's spandex suits all the time. :)
this may be a stupid ? but whats RIU??
Not stupid at all and it stands for Ramp it Up which is a workout DVD for the Slim in 6 series by Beach Body.  It is a blast!
My mum's super fit and has always easily outdone me in any exercise. When I was a wee kid I sometimes joined in with her aerobics (probably just once or twice) but generally I hated it! I never understood why she kept soooo fit, but now I do :) We're hoping towards the end of the year when I get a bit fitter she'll come join me at my gym for an afternoon :) It'll be fun to have someone who I know be able to teach me a thing or two. Much better than having a personal trainer hanging over you!
anxious, your kid is so kewt!! ^_^ That is a good bonding time. Productive too!
