Hey, I don't know myself. I managed at one point to lose 110lb. Have managed to keep most of it off the past 5 years though I have gained about 20lb back. I put together several good days recently to motivate an obese co worker and lost 9 lb. But, have been off the past 6 days because my wife had surgery. This got me out of my schedule and I have managed to put 8lb back on. What I try to do when I want to eat is walk my dog. Generally I feel better afterwards and I figure if nothing else burn some calories. I know that I am a stress eater and crave sweets when I am stressed. In times past and even on occasion now I have consumed a half gallon of ice cream in one sitting. But, I really try to get out and walk when that craving occurs now.

Need some details first.  Age, height and weight to start.
Calorie intake and calories burned each day.

If your consuming to little calories per day, your body will want to make up for those lost calories.  Our bodies are resistant to change of any kind.  It has gotten use to you habits and is fighting the new ones.
Add things to star with, an extra veggie, an extra fruit, a good fat, a walk around the block, a glass of water, an extra flight of stairs.
It is important not to take anything away the first few months.

I tend to eat when I'm bored.  When I'm upset or angry, I clean house.  So maybe scrub the kitchen....walk...activity of some kind?

Veggies are a good source of snacks....cooked green beans are good to snack on or sliced cucumbers dipped in vinegar.   Water packed fruit cocktail are good...just place these different foods in bowls in the refrig.  When you get the urge, just grab one of the bowls of snacks.  Sugar free Popsicles & jello are good fluid intake yet gives you the sweetness you might crave.
