Directions to Ballston-Commons Mall -- there's a skywalk from the metro station that goes to the mall so you won't have to walk outside in the cold.  And the parking deck behind the mall has elevators that go directly to the back of the mall, so again, no outside walking necessary.

I think it's a great idea! Don't know whether I'd be able to make one, what with all I've got going on for the next few months, but if it's on a date I'm in town, I'll do my best to be there!

I'd love to participate, weather permitting.  The only plans I have for those months are doctor's appointments, and they're all on weekdays.  It will be cold so we need to find a good place to meet indoors.

There are so many online meeting software programs now, it wouldn't be all that difficult to arrange...

Or it could be a NY/DC meetup... in Philadelphia! :-D

Well, I am over 3 hours south of DC, so Philly might be a bit far for me... but if that's what people want, it's certainly a great city!

well I was thinking about gotomeeting.com or webex.com or there's another one that I've actually used and I can't think of it's name   *think, think*

but then I realized that we don't need to present any data to each other so all we'd really need are a couple of web cams, which are pretty darn cheap  =)

I would love to meet up, but it would have to be in the DC/metrobus/subway area for me to attend in person.  :)  I hope we can do it!  Name the date and the place and I'm there.  :)

There is a metro stop across the street from the mall and there's also a parking deck behind it.

I will likely be away (in the frozen north, freezing), but if I come to my senses and stay here, I'll be there!

The first few months of 2007 will be very busy for me, what with wedding plans and all, so plan it for whenever, and if I can show up, I will. I have to save time to shovel out the basement and closets!!!!!

Oooh - if it's the 14th I think Igor and I could make it as well!
