I'd like to announce the next Washington DC Official Get-Together. Our Canadian friend Glinda will be flying down from Canadia to come visit us and we figured it was as good a time as any to get as many DC area C-C'ers together.

If any of you were thinking about actually driving in the morning of the get-together (yeah, I at least looked into it--*feels stupid*) don't.  Crystal Drive in front of the shops is going to be closed down on the 25th in the morning for a couple of events.  They're probably ensuring access to the free garages there, but it's bound to be a mess, methinks.

I'd imagine with such a large party (over 20 people) that they're not going to allow us to do individual checks (one coupon per check, and remember, the coupon only applies on orders above $30. :D).

I suppose that's a tidbit to figure out when we get there, though.

Then again...only 4 of us have been deemed "confirmed." :D

We've booked the party room, folks. There's no time limit, that we know of, so that'll give us time to talk, to chat and for Erik and Igor to have a word or five. :)

Kim, kinds depends on when lunch ends and such.  I gotta leave for home by about 4:30 p.m. 'cause of car issues.  DD has stuff at school and DH has to work that night at 7 p.m. so I need to get the car back.  Unless a miracle occurs and DD's car is fixed by then, but it doesn't look promising.

So.....I may be able to hang with you guys for a bit at least.

We'll see how things go.  Claire I'm sure we could handle it.  I don't move so fast myself in the heat either.  I think Ben is just afraid to spend to much 'alone' time with me. LOL
