Hello everyone.

This is an join in anytime support group. No topic off limits. You are welcome to share your day to day challenges, and personal goals. I'm looking for people who has no dead line.

I'm sick of this dead line weight loss talk.

I want to release some weight, and gain some new friends to walk this journey with me.

This is a new start.  I don't want any weekly weigh ins here. I just want conversation.. Congrats if you have good news.. SHARE! If you need to vent.. Go a head.. If you need to cry.. Shoulder's are right here..

This is a support group.. No more fashion dead lines.. Let's make this a non dead line.. We are going to get to healthy. That's the goal here. To make it to healthy...

I did weigh myself yesterday: 120.

Weird, well this week I'm just maintaining.

Tammy, I understand 100% what you are talking about. One of my co workers and biggest supporter on my job said to me today once I had the chips to let it go. You done ate it, and it's no reason to beat yourself up.  Then she started to make me feel better about what I was doing for myself, and told me to just give it one day at a time, and that's been a hard one right there.  Giving it one freaking day at a time is very hard, but we can't beat ourselves up. We just have to keep on pushing. I feel like I hit brick wall after brick wall, and she put it to me like this. "Bluntly" You can only do as good as you can. There is no perfect way of doing it. As long as you are honest with who you are, everything will workout for the best. Just don't cut yourself short. She believe me- cutting myself short if the  whole reason why I gain and lose the way I do. She said.. I am playing with fat not fire, and I get what she is saying. I lose 7 pounds in one month. I put back on 14 the next month. I lose 3 pounds in one week. I get careless and put back on 5 pounds by the end of the next week. We have to hold on to some ground rules and have a little of the things they say we can't have. I love moon pies.. So I have to work those in. 1 or 2.. I have to do it. I love chips.. I have to work that in. 1 or 2 servings. I love these things, and she said. You can still eat right exercise, and have those things you do enjoy. Just as long as you have just one serving or it, and know... How you feel about it after you have it. No more beating yourself up over weight gains. I wish I knew how to tell you how to kick this weight out of the box, but all can tell you is this. Enjoy and do your best. Stop kicking this starting over kick, and do what you know, and enjoy yourself some. I feel this is going to work for me. I've gained a lot of my weight back too, but Im still keeping my wasit line in check. That's has always been my main focus.. These hips are holding my back from jean sizes, but as long as my tummy is in great shape. I could care less if I lose another pound. That's how I feel now. Just as long as I don't get big there again. Woosh.. A 40" wasit line a few years ago, and now 32 and I 've seen less that that on the gut in the past. I do know. I can control that and keep on working on that area. The same rule for the gut should be for my thighs, and thats how I will look at it for now on.. Working hard. squating it out, and pushing myself a little more.. Just to burn some of the no no eatings I had for the day. Things are going to work out. You'll see..

Lynn ~ I just have to stop the eating at night!  Maybe I should eat things with more substance that will fill me up more.  I gave up bread of all types. I'm working on the sugar now.  I use to do without any kind of sugar when I frist started.  Now......Look out!  I eat it all!!!!  I have to get back to my old ways and get on with this.

I walked today and burned over 900 calories.  I can't remember the exact number right now.  It was between 900-950.  I'm proud of myself.  Although, my leg was on fire the last mile home.  It was awful.  That's something new.  I never had that happen before.  I have a few new things going on now with my back and leg.  I go back to my pain dr next month.  I'll probably have a new MRI done again.  There must be a change with the discs in there again.  Seems like every 6-8 months it gets worse.  Not good.

I'm forcing myself to be active and not let my pain get in the way. It's hard sometimes though.

Hi all!  It's good to read your posts!  Had a girlfriend visit me from the States and I didn't log squat!!  I was, however, more active than I'd been in a long time so that part was good.  Time to get back on track.

For Lynn and anyone else who's on SparkPeople, I just joined and would like to know your SP user names so I can keep up with you over there as well.  I'll still be staying with this site, not going anywhere.

just go look for me, and add me as a friend so I can add you.  Sparks is very nice. You can add a whole lot of pics over there, and the good thing about sparks is all the friends you meet over there. No one is nasty.  So, I like it over there.  I hope you enjoy sparks. I do, I just can't keep up with the challenges over there as of now. I'm to busy doing my own thing. I think my love life go my weight moving down once again.

I have an account on SP but can't for the life of me remember my name!!! LOL  That was the very 1st site I joined.  I just couldn't get it. Ya know?  I had a few friends I left behind. Feel bad for that.  I found this one and was very happy, so just left it.  Maybe I should give it a try again.  I'll have to create a new account.  I might just do it tonight.

I'm home alone......gotta stay outta the kitchen!!!  AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I ate lots of veggies today and I feel good about it.  I'm alittle under 1300 calories for the day.  NO exercise today.  My leg is acting up.  I think it's the rain.  I just love how my leg and back react to the weather.  Just a little sarcasm there! LOL 

I'll do some kind of exercise tomorrow with my dvd.  I have to make myself do it.  Once I start, I'll be ok.  You know how it goes.

Hey Lynn!  I thought I recognized you under Cricket's Spark friends!  I'll be sure to add you to my growing list of friends.  Y'know, a good love life does help with the pounds--must be all those endorphins LOL!  Still haven't gotten a battery for my new scale.  Have to do it though, I need to see where I stand.

tryin2lose--You are so funny!  I'm not leaving CC, so I know where you are.  I will look for you over on SP.  Good on you for the veggies!  My hubby just brought me up a glass of fresh juice, he's back to juicing again.  My sciatic nerve is playing up.  Did a lot of walking when my friend was visiting.  My GP has a med for it but I think it'll make me drowsy--I hate that.  It felt good to walk though.  I think the arthritis in my knee is reacting to the weather as well.  Drats!

Hello everyone!

tp - I haven't been on SP yet to see if you found me. I have to get over there and not forget I signed back up! LOL

I'm wearing my HRM all day to see what it comes up with tonight.  I've never worn it all day.  It'll probably get me moving more so I'll have a nice big number at the end of the day.  That's why I wear it when I walk.  It makes me keep my HR up where it should be.

Looks like rain today.  Suppose to rain this afternoon.  Just happy that it's not so humid today.  Getting tired of 90* days and high humidity.  So is my son!  His allergies are so bad and it triggers his asthma when the temp goes up.  And this time of yr is always bad for him.

The one thing about the weather here is there is nowhere near the amount of humidity that you guys get in the States.  Thank God for small favors!  LOL
