Debating about loosing weight or not. Your opinion?
I am 5'5" or 5'6" (I think I am 5'6" though) and I weigh somewhere between 120-130 lbs (I haven't weighed in a while since I prefer to just go by clothing sizes). I wear a 7 in jeans and a medium in shirts.
I lost about ten pounds a while ago a gained more than what I lost back (it was mostly muscle from getting on pointe in ballet). However I am debating whether I should go on a "diet" (mostly just cut out any junk food I eat, and getting healthier) or if I should just continue on.
My body type is very similar to Kim Kardashian, however but butt does not pop out as far as hers. But when I am at my fittest it is similar to Jessica Alba's. So basically I am thinking "What body would I rather have? Kim K or Jessica A?"
Please post what you think!
Thank you! God bless and good luck to you all!
Getting healthier doesn't necessarily mean losing weight, though. If you're comfortable with your weight and you're at a healthy one I think you should just concentrate on eating good portions of good foods!
And, I don't think you should try and imitate or...I don't know the right word...try and look like someone else, just be the best you can be and get a body you're happy with.
EDIT TO ADD: I just checked your BMI (I'm not as tall as you so I didn't know the weight range!) and you're at a healthy one. So I wouldn't worry much about losing weight, just getting healthier.
Thanks for checking my BMI! I don't know how to do that (I am an idiot with computers!) Hahaha
How old are you? Your age will make a difference as to what your healthy weight range is. :)
I am 16, but I definitely down growing.

You may be done growing height wise but your body is still growing and developing (ie. organs).
This teen BMI calculator suggests that you are at a healthy weight. A healthy weight range for your age and height would be 111lbs (small frame) to 152lbs (large frame) so you are right in the middle which is perfect.
I just wanted to post to say thank you to everyone!
When I first read your thread I thought you were being sarcastic and posting on this website to poke fun.........but then I realized you were 16. Here's my $.02....appreciate your body when you're young. You are not fat. You are not overweight.
When I was a teenager I always thought I was fat - now looking back as an adult I realize it was my poor self image. I would give almost anything to be the weight I was when I was a teenager.
Ditto to Cavaliers!
