Way To Go TEAM 5!!!

I am proud to say that you guys are in 1st place as of now.

I can't wait to see how you guys are doing on the next weigh in.

Keep up the great work.

Feel free to contact me if you need anything!Laughing

All right! And to top off being in 1st place, this morning I weighed in at 126.8. I was shocked and happy! So, hopefully that weight will stick and we will have a few more pounds to put towards our total.

Hope everyone is staying focused and have a great day!!!

thanks, refill --- and rock on, team 5!!!

good for you, carlyn   ( :     keep up the good work!

I am doing ok.   my doggie is sick and it has been so cold and wet and rainy here, I have skipped my outdoor jogging for a few days.  Promise to be better.    Eating still top notch and lots of water.

anyone wanna share tips??  ( :

HI!! Made it over here finally had a rough week last week and forgot to post my weight loss URGH added it today but not sure it counts lol.

So today after watching a repeat of the biggest loser and seeing how they kick their ass and get great results I am going to work SUPER hard at my work today.  I had 7 buffalo chicken tenders last night and 4 beers so today i'm all about the water and exercise!!!

it;s all good, txmom ---  tomorrow is a new weigh in.   ( :

ROCK ON< Junie ---    I am watching TBL on my dvr right now.   I agree!!!!!       ; work it out, hottie.  you can do it!!!

HOW ABOUT A REPEAT WIN for losses tomorrow, TEAM 5?????     ( :

Hey!!! Where do we weigh in?!? I think i'm behind =(

I think refill was going to keep track of all of it in the first forum December CHallenge!!!!!

I guess we could weigh in here too....   I have been up and down all week, but I figure the average is good enough for now.  I was down just a teeny tiny bit again.

good luck all!

Hey, janay I saw your posted loss of .2 and between me and you we lost a whole pound this week!!! A loss is a loss is a loss.

Team 5 rocks!!!

woo hoo!   lol --  I satarted TTOM just yesterday finally, so I can;t be too sad.   ( :    I will do better next week.   I am SO CLOSE to my goal.  it just won;t fall off.   stupid weight.

we should do some challenge here ----   water a day, pushups, 30 min of cardio 5+ days a week ---and encourage each other.   Wanna?  ( ;

I like the idea of water day and cardio 5 times a day.

Janay - I am all for some goals, I try to get Cardio in 5 times a week but not always easy with a little one at home lol. but this week I added more weights to my carido so we will see. I went last night to 24 and did 2 miles 40 minutes of weights ran another mile after. and hope to get at least 2 miles tonight and weights. hmmm ight see what classes there are.

This morning was an all time low. So, that was cool. I did pretty good today. Ate some sweet stuff but didn't go over calories.

I do cardio three x a week and strength training two x per week. I work out no less than 1 hour a day so on my strength training days I usually just take 30min walk to get my time up. I try to drink at least 100 ounces of water per day although I have been slacking since the weekend. I need to get back focused.

how is everyone?

( :

congrats on your new low, carlyn!!!

how did we all do this week???

OK, I am starting to feel like a pariah.      Undecided  oi,

I responded to June's post in the December CHallenge forum and posted my own weekend challenge for us all, Team 5.

are you willing?    ( :

I was out late last night and still got up and ran my heart out, 4 miles, this morning.

CHALLENGE:     post at least once here (((((suggestion:   what is working for you, what is hard, things you want to work on,..........))))))) and  at lest 30 minutes cardio both weekend days.

any takers?

------ my post:    what is working for me?    lots of water, lots of fruit and veggies, work out 5-7 days a week, spend time with my best couple/friends because I am sick of being sad at home after the second "break up" with my ex.

what is hard,.......?     spending time alone.    knowing the money I make is not enough to sustain my needs/bills every month and it is slowly eating my savings.     needing to get a second job, but knowing my real job requires several nights a week of grading....  balancing those two things.   Needing money sucks.....  as does your mommy buying you food at age 31.       Missing, um, BLUSH, sex.     If I got some action more often, I would for sure be happier.   lol

things I want to work on:     getting another job (extra job).     finding some new friends, so that S and K, the couple I mentioned, do not get sick of me.       Getting the right equipment to jog at 5AM in the freezing cold weather ----  I need longer pants and some ear/head warming situation.

------------   anyone else?

What has been working for me? 1 hour of exercise 5x per weeks. I started out with all cardio and about 6 weeks ago switched it up for 3 days cardio and 2 days strength training. Eating right and making sure to have a deficit each day. Or at least trying my best to. Drinking lots of water. Dressing nice every day and (nice clothes, make-up, jewelry, etc...) It makes me feel a lot better about myself.

What is hard? Not eating the stuff I want to. That has been a real problem for me. Other than that I think everything is pretty good. I love to exercise. I love my family and my home life. I am a stay at home mom, so money has been slightly tight, but not anything we can't handle.

Things I want to work on? My 5k time. Stretching more daily. Drinking more water than I have been. And mostly just continuing the things that I have implemented already into my life.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

thanks for playing, carlyn.   ( :

------------  an hour a day.   color me impressed/jealous.    &nb sp; I get up at 5AM and work out for 35ish minutes, either running 4 miles or riding a stationary bike 8.      you rock.    what are your stats?   am I far off from you?       and I am doubly impressed that you are a stay at home mom and have an HOUR.   good for you.

I am like all proud of you,  carlyn.  you are rocking it and finding a balance.  that's awesome.

Keep up the good work, that;s pretty dang inspirational.    ( :

HMMM...

What IS working for me is a good question?  Perhaps making sure I get a day of rest in.  I find that I'll exercise for days straight and make myself guilty into even working out on my rest days and wonder why there is no change.  So I try to take random days off so my body is always surprised.  I think it is working for me.  I was pleasantly surprised this morning when I took my measurements and realized that I lost 1 inch in my waist and 1/2 and inch in my thighs despite the scale not going down at all.  It may not seem like much but I have to grasp onto something because I am losing motivation which is what I find to be hard...motivation and seeing results.   I need to work on getting more than 60-80oz of water a day because I really think that might help me. I also need to work on doing more intense cardio.

I hope the weekend is going well for you ladies.

I do that, June..... try and work out every day.    then lately I fell off the wagon when it got SO COLD in the am at 5 to run, like 14 degrees and wet...   yuck.     MAYBE I should work in an off day to keep me going in between....

I do that too ----- inches are WAY more motivational that the scale sometimes.  I do that any time I am frustrated with being stuck on the scale.    always down a little, sometimes a lot...   ( :    GOOD FOR YOU

I agree too, that MORE WATER  ( like I have a 33 oz bottle I try and fill 3 times a day at work ) would almost certainly help you lose.   ( :      also, I find HIIT will sometimes surprise my body into losing.   or adding a new activity......    lifting, jumping rope, you know something unexpected.     : D   it's good to see you, J!!!  ( :

go, team 5!
