Thank you for the praise Janay. I really do appreciate it. I started out at almost 160. Instead of losing weight after having a baby I was gaining it. So, I started exercising but not really watching what I ate too much. That was a little over two years ago. Then, this past September, I really started utilizing CC and have lost about 12 pounds. Currently at 128 (5'4") and really just want another 10 pounds and then maintain. My toddler is very good. On the days that I can't drag myself out of bed at 6am (so I can work out before he gets up) he will sit in his play pen and snack while watching his shows. As long as I get him out at half way point and let him "jog" on the treadmill then he never fusses about it.
annulyiu - I swear by the cardio. Really vigorous heart pumping stuff. I was never a jogger/runner or anything but now if I don't do it then I don't feel right. And jump rope is really good, too. Or jumping jacks. I can't really jump for long periods of time but what I try to do is my strength training exercises in between.

I plan to keep trying, but I think maybe my body is done losing at 152-155... starting at 230 puts that in perspective though.
I really do feel like this is ME now, my life and not a diet or something temporary. that;s a good thing. that makes it just something I do like breathe and sleep. YAY for good habits!

I posted in the other forum but wanted to do it here, too. I have been working really hard the last few months and I need a break. I withdrew from the challenge. I am going to do maintenance until the New Year and then try to lose these last 10 pounds. Sorry, you guys and gals are losing a team member but I have been kind of miserable keeping my deficits day in and day out. I will still eat healthy, count calories and exercise but I won't have the huge deficits like I have been.

well I think my weight loss is going ot be bad this week pulled a muscle in my calf on Sunday and no running or cardio for me, this freakin sucks. I was so proud on Sunday ran 4.66 miles my longest yet, felt great , came hom ewalked a few minute sn awent inside late rthat night my calf started hurting really bad so I guess I did something to it. urgggghhhh
What has been working for me? exercise 4 to 4 times a week with at least 30 minutes of cardio then weights. think I need to switch things up though
What is hard? I love things liek buffalo wings and hamburgers and cream suaces.plus I am an emtional eater and it has been hard making myself stop and think about what I am eating.
Things I want to work on? switching up my workout routines try some classes who cares If I can't finish it I wan tto at least try it. Self image. Being a healthier mom so I can set a better example for my daughter.
