Decided to look at my goal in a different way ...
.... so, instead of focusing on the numbers (always seems to muck me up one way or another) I have decided to state my goals in a differnt way.
My first goal is to fit back into my size 14 work trousers. I tried them on this morning ... and at I guess I've got 5cm to lose before I can fit into them. So, rather than weighing myself constantly I'm going to keep logging everything on here, and try on my trousers once a fortnight.
So .... that seems like a better focus. And, when I get to that goal I'll focus on fitting into my work skirt (also a size 14, but a smaller cut - probably more like a 12).
Next goal .... fiting into my size 10 work pants .... bought a couple of diets ago in a fit of enthusiasm thinking that I'd shrink myself into them.
Sounds like a good plan! I have several things I bought with the expectation of being able to wear them "when" . . . when hasn't come yet, however! But I like your idea of focusing on change in such a unique way. Good luck.
I like those ideas too. That's how I look at exercise so why not look at losing in the same light. My current goal is to be able to take my son on a 5 mile bike ride. Right now we are up to about a mile. Just rolling hills, through the local neighborhoods. I hope with in a few weeks we'll be able to make it about 5 miles.
Good luck! :)
Definitely a good idea! It took me fifteen pounds to go from a size 9 to a size 7, but then only about four pounds to go from a size 7 to a size 5. Body composition is much more important than the number on the scale. 150 pounds with 19% body fat is very different than 150 pounds with 34% body fat.
Good luck on your goals! :-)
I've lost twenty pounds and am still in my 16s. Yes they are more comfortable but I wanted to be in my 14s for summer, and I can almost get in them too . . .
A fortnight hugh?
I did take a two month time-out and just rested at this weight, but starting July 1st I am back on the bandwagon . . . wanna check in for support on the fortnight...When exactly is a fortnight?
How many times a week can I eat tilapia?
There is no limit on tilapia. Certain oily fishes and regional fishes may limited due to their risk of contamination with mercury and other substances... Read more
