Decreasing body fat%
im not fully sure Is it possible to lower your Body fat% and still maintain around the same weight you are at??
sure it is! Weight has a lot of variables; water, muscle, fat, waste, etc...
take my profile pic for an example.... I'm still the same weight on the scale! But I certainly dont have the same body fat%

Wow, Surgence, you look fantastic! Great tattoo, too.
Krazyjoker; As I understand it, the method is to lose fat while trying to increase or at least maintain your muscle mass (although I always thought a calorie surplus was required to build muscle).
That's why you here people say to track measurements as well as weight; if they lose inches before pounds, it means they are most likely losing more fat than they are muscle and so even though their weight loss isn't barelling along, their fat loss is.

It is possible. Are you training for something that requires a weight class?

Thanks! it isnt finished yet but soon enough!!
Also you are correct in a sense! its a huge discussion on the best way to lose weight and gain muscle.... well you cant (at the same time anyway)! You do need a caloric surplus to grow new muscle, so the trick is to lose weight and maintain as much muscle as possible!! It tough work, and I dont even have it fully down yet! its the exact reason that competition bodybuilders have and off-season and an on-season!! You better believe they gain fat during the off season, but they need to gain to build bigger muscles! Then when the on-season comes they drop the fat and try to retain as much as the new muscle they can!
not sure if this explains anything at all! but just thought I'd throw it out there!

Hey surgence,
One of you photos has tattoos that disappear in your after picture. Did you have them removed or covered up? Just curious.

the one on my chest (its small) is getting covered up by the big one! if you look closely you can still see it there....
keep in mind it is on the opposite side as the picture you are referring to was taken by someone else and the current ones are taken by me in a mirror!

your diet and exercise regime are key to what you are trying to do. To cut body fat with minimal lose of muscle and weight is tough and it might take a little while for you to figure out how your body responds. Switching to a high protein is the first step, and I mean 50-60% protein, low glycemic carbs like veggies and sweet potatoes and brown rice. and minimal fat. low intensity cardio lasting about 45 minutes 2-3 times a week to start, adjust as you go if need be. and don't go any lower than 8 reps on lifts and no higher than 12. That should put you in the 60-70% 1 rep max range. Set a date of when you want to be at a certain % it is easier that way. Once you reach that goal start another.
Right on. Now I see it.
You look great. Congrats on your progress Surge.

shill - Thank you very much!
I was hoping bodyscience would jump in here! Looks like I'm on the right track! Protein is about 50%, carbs (complex only, ate early in the day) at 35%, and fats at 25%! I love that whey protein haha!

K is there any supplement that can further help me in my goal of losing body fat % while maintaing around the same weight and muscle? and if there is what would be the best supplement for this goal?
OK well what you could do is take methyl ripped from nxlabs, it will burn fat and support your muscles, and also take T3 from the same company, it is great test booster. The T3 you take before bed during the day get some Sarm X from MHP or RPM from Applied Nutriceuticals. They are both SARMS( select androgen receptor modulators), they are closer thing to the illegal stuff. But boy it is good!
So methyl ripped would be better than Lipo-6??
Can I jump in with a similar question then? I still have a bunch of weight to go ( 5ft 5 inches 184.5 lbs). Trying to lose weight and just be toned. In the 3 months at the gym I use I've lost 1.5 lbs, 4% body fat and 11 inches. Do I keep doing what I'm doing and the weight will follow, do I change my eating (it's been around 13-1400 calories, pretty much 40%, 30% 30%)? My fitness has been 5 days of cardio for 1 hour (fitness classes like kickboxing or cardio jam), weight lifting 3 or 4 days/week for 12-15 reps (if I can do more, I increased the weight).
Methyl ripped is better than lipo 6 as far as muscle retention
Curvaliciouos, keep doing what you are doing and the weight will come off, you might need to adjust your calories as the weight comes off

I bought the product yesterday... jst had a few questions maybe u knew the answers to.. It says take it once in the morning on empty stomach or before morning workout how long shud i wait before eating if i take it during the morning and it says take the pill again 6 hours later.. but when shud i take after ive had my food or before or how long before or after?? get back at me if you can thx
take it about an hour before you eat, or at least 2 hours after. If your stomach isn't empty it will interfere with the product.
Will the product still work if i only do my workouts @ night?? cuz im at work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. i start workin out around 8 p.m. so will the supplement still have the same effect??
It will still burn fat, the working out is just the cherry on top! So the combination of both will be perfect.
lol alrite im anxious to see this sh*t work, hopefully i can add some definition to these guns =)
im backkkk i had a quick question .. am i supposed to feel anything specific after taking the pill or anything at all like get a headache cz i dont... i feel the same i dont feel any difference its like im takin a multivitamin lol..
shud i jst go straight to 2-3 pills per serving before a week has gone by or what??
and 1 more question how long do u think it will be before i can notice any changes?
