hey, i'm just curious and need some reassurance. if you still have a deficit between your calories burned and calories taken in, you will not gain weight, right? for example, today i ate around 1600, and burned around 1750. i won't gain, will i?
nooo i dont think so.
Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but I'm so glad you posted this because I was just wondering the same thing myself. My calorie limit is supposed to be 1200, but I ate 1627 today so I went to the gym and burned 250 cals so now altogether I've burned a little over 1800 for the day so far, similar to your stats for today. I'm hoping someone has a good answer for you because then my question will also be answered, lol.
It's pretty much impossible to gain with a deficit. However, I have stepped on the scale the day after a small deficit and seen a slight gain, like if I had lots of carbs or sodium or lots of weight training. So no worries! You wont gain.
alright well thanks for the reply! i hope youre right :) haha
Yes you can gain weight or not lose any - various factors come into play, water retention, colon waste and muscle gain - if you do a lot of high entensity weight lifting and consume a lot of protein you can gain a 1lb of muscle in a week...which is generally a good thing :D
Weight isn't really a good way to measure fitness.. I think body fat is and you can tell by your waist size :D

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
