I guess what I mean is, I don't get the mindset in general. Having to constantly monitor yourself to prevent an unwanted 'accident'. Like emotional incontinence, or something.

well, that may be a bit extreme.  temptations happen, whether sexual, emotional, choclatal...

and its not really constant monitoring.  its recognizing that you've given into temptation before, and will probably be subjected to it again.  and that doesn't have to be a bad thing, nor does it have to be confusing.

ok, there's a difference...BUT, both can be addictions, which makes them almost not that different at all.

but we're not really talking about sex addicition when it comes to infidelity.  at least i don't think we are.  we're talking about two people in an monogamous realationship where one parter allows him or herself to give into temptation.

what about this one?  I needed cash the other day and hubby gives me half of what he says he has....which is 5$. I was going to an event downtown and really needed more. Later that day when I"m doing the checkbook.....I notice two times where he got cash out....one for 10 and one for 20.  I looked ...yes SNOOPED in his wallet to find he did actually have 30 bucks. WHY would he lie about that?? I tried to find out if he needed it for something else....HE SAYS... that he got the 20 out for some mags he ordered.....and ALREADY  paid the kid he got them from...Then same night our daughter says she needs some money for school....HE goes and gets his wallet  and again says he doesn't have anything.....I wanted to SCREAM....you have efffing 30$ in there....what is wrong with you!!!!!!!???? Soooooo now if I confront him.....I have to confess about looking in his wallett  .......which will just make him angry.....but it's 2 days later and I am still MAD.

a zombie thread is a very old thread (look at the posting date of the original person's post).  It's common among new members to resurrect these old posts because they aren't experienced enough yet to learn to look at the dates.  It's all good.  It's just something we like to joke about here.

 Yeah, I noticed.

There's some zombie threads that you can tell someone searched for something and posted (like the paul can make you thin thread or ww threads in the weight loss area)

and then there are these. Definitely more lately. w/e, at least SOMEONE is being entertained.

my guess is g searched on 'snooping'...but it's hard to say
