How to delete a recipe after it's created? Please help Moderators or someone

My friend sent me a lemon bread with glace topping recipe. She is normally a great baker and I thought this would be good. I created the recipe on CC and tagged it under my favorite recipes and now it's out there.

Problem is I made it and it's discusting! It is the worst lemon bread i've ever had in my life. LOL

I see how to delete it from my favorite tagged recipes however I don't want anyone else to ever waste their money on making this bread. Is there a way I can delete the entire recipe off CC or can one of the moderators delete it please?

Right above the title of the recipe, you should see an E in a box and next to it an X in a box.  Click on the X to delete or the E to edit.

Let me know if those two symbols are missing and I'll report the problem.

I have the "E" but I don't have the "X" for the recipes I want to delete.  How do I delete a recipe without an "X"?

i don't have the X either. some of my recipes really shouldn't be out there. how do i delete them?

The missing X is now restored.  Formerly it would disappear if you edited a recipe.  Now you can delete at will.  Thanks for your patience!

I don't, we're a virtual community that are all sharing the same experience, helpful hints, and recipes!

If you don't want anyone making something that is experimental, then put in the notes section that it is an incomplete recipe or under construction or what have you.
