So my thread was removed because -

Would someone tell me where I was personally attacking? I am thinking that I was the one attacked.....I was told it doesn't matter if I live or die.

So if the mod disagrees with your views, the mod removes the whole thread?

I was reading through it earlier and I thought the tone was staying pretty level...the only people that were getting rude were the 'chatters'....and well....that just proved your point.

I have to agree....this is an abuse of power.  Within the last few weeks the moderators (no one in particular) have been editing more so than moderating.

It was a question to all as to if they participated, enjoyed or felt put off by the DAILY CHAT that occurs here in the Lounge.

But because I was saying something that the mods didn't like or agree with.....we've turned the page back 100 years to censorship.

Can you tell me the Mod that deleted the thread (maybe just message me, so that it doesn't become "infammatory")....I'd like to send in my complaints as well.....

I've always avoided the chat... It's like a cl*q** within CC.  Once I posted, because there was some goal where they wanted to get to 10,000 or something like that.  But otherwise, I try to pretend it's not there.  When you're not in the chat on a regular basis you are "out of the group" and if you post you are often ignored.

That said, it seems all the people here (and in the chats) are friendly and nice, for the most part.  I do agree that some mods (maybe all?  Can't point fingers, but its been happening) are deleting posts they don't PERSONALLY like, and I often see them "stepping in" to tell everyone to calm down, when nothing ever even got heated.  I think the biased editing and deleting needs to stop.  This is a place where everyone and their ideas are welcome.... please allow free speech on CC!  (and yes, for those who aren't mods ... keep it appropriate)

And my suggestion to everyone who isn't part of the Chat:  IGNORE IT.  Pretend it's not there.  They even have their own "Chat Personal Information Template".  Haha

Pam...I'm sure they are. But I don't care....what I DO care about is someone with the power to do what "they" did being one of those peolpe.

This IS a discussion board.  Let us all voice our opinion, argue and not feel like we need to all hold hands and agree.

Something has to be done about this.....is this a democracy? Can we vote on the mod's actions? or who is to be a mod?  Hummm....but, wait a minute....*light bulb*....we didn't vote them in! 

Well, all kidding aside....this definately is something that needs to be looked into.  Mods are needed to a certain extent, but an abuse of power is an abuse of power. 

 I'm not ' on your side ' or ' against you ' either. Due to the fact I didn't read the tread. But, I know what you mean about treads being cut by the mod. That's so annoying. I had one of mine cut, and I'm still not sure why...
