ok, I'm confused. Since I gained 4# last week, do I get to count the 2# I lost this week?
I'm surprised that I lost those 2#, is was another screwy week, and I was aiming for maintainance. So, either I mis-judged what maintainance was, or it was water weight, but at least it's gone.
Is any one else getting cold? I started noticing it a little last spring, but it just wasn't a factor over the summer (duh). But, it just cooled down around here, and I'm COLD! Had to start the furnace at work this weekend, and I needed to set it 4 degrees higher than last year, and I was wearing a sweater.
i lost 2 1/2 pounds this week and went past my first mini goal of 250
hi everyone, i know what you mean about being involved in something giving you a better outlook on life and you feel so much better. i love being in projects too. right now my projects are selfish but they keep me busy and happy. i've never been one to do for me before and i'm really enjoying it.
i lost 26 1/2 pounds so far and i feel really good about myself. i have 3 highs in my weight. 250 was my highest weight when i lived in fla and i've passed that now. my highest weight when i lived in pa was 236 and that's my next mini goal. this is such fun. lol my highest here in va was 276 and that's my all time high also. my brother says all me and his wife talk about anymore is what we eat. lol but he is very happy to see his wife and i feeling better and slimming down. he is away all week driving truck so each weekend he comes back and hears we are both losing and is very supportive. he says he can see us shrinking too. gotta love him. lol
posting here each weekend is really great too. even though i don't know any of you, i read your posts and it helps me so much, even when you have problems. it makes me realize i'm not alone and have lots of company. thanks for being here and i wish you all a fabulous week. love ya, kat
Hi Everyone how are you all. I have not had a great last couple of weeks as far as my weight is concerned. I am up I have been slacking and I know it and the scale showed me. So it's time to get motivated and concentrate on eating healthy and getting my water in as well as execise. I took a little vacation but it's time to be back so I am back.
I hope you all are doing well.
Weekends are still a struggle for me.
Down 4 pounds this week.... that makes 38 total since July!!
Was actually going to be happy with maintaining this week -- had a work conference out of town and treated myself to a dinner out at my favorite old college restaurant with a friend, but did order the "spinoccoli" pizza instead of the pepperoni sausage heart attack special. I know the calories were bad (the crust is incredible on their pizza) but I did good the rest of the week!
Decided I will take a new picture for my profile for every 50 pounds lost, so that is my next mini goal - getting to take a picture in another 12 pounds :o)
Well, I think I must have really adjusted to my new eating habits. I was aiming for maintainance again this week, plus it is TOM, and I still lost 2#, bringing me back down to where I was before my little meltdown.
moogiesue, I haven't noticed any trouble sitting, but then I have the flattest butt in the world. I never gain weight in the buttcheeks, but have a real nice spare tire running along the top of my hipbones, and it is a curve in to my seat. Maybe if I lose enough from there, it will look like I have a butt, but don't hold your breath. It is genetic, my dad and both my sisters have the same negative factor to their butts.
hi everyone,
i lost 1 pound this week. i knew it would slow down sometime so i was ready for it. i've had a harder time staying down this week. i was up to my maint. calories 1 time today and close a couple of times. i just seem to be hungry all the time. hope it goes away soon. lol
way to go everyone. glad to see so many losers. i'm in a hurry today so not much to say. have a great weekend all. kat
Josie - Yay! a fellow buttless girl like me! I have no butt either...it's totally flat, it never got rounder, only wider and thicker. But it was the first place I lost weight from and all my pants look ridiculous now. I went from big flat butt, to negative butt :-) I'm also not entirely convinced that I don't just need a new chair at work. But in the past few months I've gone to a couple theatres, sat in a few desks that I hadn't sat in for months. I had to squeeze into the seat or feel the arms pressing against my thighs before, but now I can sit pretty comfortably. So to my butt I say, "who needs you!?"
And congrats to all the losers on here...I must say we are all rocking it this week!
Yeah, it's so nice when you sit in a chair that used to pinch you at the thighs, and all of a sudden, you have room. That has happened a couple of times lately, and really drives home the fact that I am making progress.
Josie, Mougiesue, Katstar, reinak72, mscarol2u you all are doing awesome I am so proud of you what an inspiration. Keep it up
OH and I so know what you all mean when you talk about the flat butt I have a big wide flat one. I know they say squats make it rounder. I guess I'll have to lose a little more to see those results.
Weighed in today and I am down 3lbs Yay just what I needed to keep me motivated WHEW!!!!!!!!!
Anyway I hope everyone is doing well. Chat at you later
hi everyone! i lost 2 1/2 pounds this week that means i'm down 30 pounds now. yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee lol
as far as butts go, i have a big round one. my best friend had a flat butt, we use to say it was a shame i couldn't give her some of mine. lol maybe i better stop doing those squats. lol
i feel so good these days. i just can't get over how happy i am. i know it can't last forever, but i'm going to enjoy it for now. i've been on an even high for 3 months now. i love my new job, i'm almost done with my floors and i'm losing weight too. who needs a man.
i wish you all the best and a fabulous weekend. kat

Aw thanks! YOU guys inspire me. It's amazing to feel so amazing after kicking off the pounds. It's so worth it in the end. You start to feel better, and realize that this is a lifestyle change and not a quick fix. No going back!
