Deli Lunch Ideas

Quote  |  Reply

I am currently working as a camp counselor, and anytime we go on trips (which are at least once or twice a week) my supervisor goes to the deli and buys lunch for the staff. While i do not mind this one bit, I am starting to get a little tired of my usual turkey, lettuce and tomato on a whole wheat wrap. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for other filling, yet healthy, ideas for wraps that would give my lunch a little variety? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am not sure if this is available but hummus and veggies or veggie wrap with cheese. Salads with roll like grilled chicken. Depending on when you go get it veggie burgers. Some places offer tuna salad that is lf as well. What do others get that may look good that you could try?

I actually never thought to get a hummus and veggie wrap, I will definitely have to see if the local deli has hummus! Unfortunately my co-workers are not very health conscious, and usually get the specialty sandwiches, all of which generally contain meats such as breaded chicken cutlets, ham and roast beef, with cheese and high calorie dressing, all of which i try to avoid. Today i did try grilled chicken and vegetables which was pretty good, so that's a start. Thanks for your suggestions!
