I was at Whole Foods today with my grandma, and when we were walking through the bakery, I caught sight of something pretty amazing. They have new fat-free bran and blueberry muffins! They are labeled "low-fat", but both of them are fat free and have absolutley no artifical ingredients. They're 150 calories each and are pretty good sized at that. I know a lot of you get Vitamuffins, but I'm not sure how those can compare to the taste of these! They are very moist and flavorful; they really remind me of those calorie-packed muffins you can get at Starbucks, Panera, Ensteins Bros., etc.

It's hard to believe they're fat-free! I can't wait to see if they come out with any other flavors!

150 calories for a whole muffin!? I sure hope they aren't pulling any "1 muffin = 2 servings" crap. I might go check this out tomorrow. =3
I thought that at first too; it seemed too good to be true. But then I checked my package again, and nope! It's 150 calories for a serving, "one muffin"".

Heheh, this has been the best food find of mine in a while!
What is the brand name?
Whole Foods has some really great finds!!!!  Good for you to find one you like!!  Sounds delish!!

oooooh...i love thier bakery stuff.... how the heck did u find out how many calories were in it tho

They listed the calories on the package. I'm assuming it was to attract "dieters" and health nuts. xD

Anyway, they're great; I'd probobly choose them over a Vitamuffin anyday since (in my opinion), they taste exactly like any other  fat-packed bakery muffin.
Yeahh...I had these! They are really yummy...and definetly 150 calories for one serving. They are a little lacking as far as breakfast goes...but awesome for a snack if you are craving something sweet...especially warmed up with a little light butter. mmmmm.
Yum, how much sugar do they have???
They have 15 grams...which is kind of a lot; but at least it's not high fructose corn syrup. They are not a breakfast anywho, but they're a great snack for sweet cravings, and if you want something that reminds you of an old favorite.
Niiiice. :) How big are the muffins? I'm curious as to how big a 150-calorie muffin could possibly be...
They're 120 grams each. xD I'm not exactly sure how big that is, but they look pretty darn good-sized to me. Definatley worth it; I might just have one right now.

Mmm, yes I want one :) I'm trying to conquer my fear of (even natural) sweeteners, so this is a good place to start!

Any suggestions on what to pair with it for a good balanced snack at around 2-300 cals? Maybe some celery and cottage cheese?

Cottage cheese sounds great to go with them! I'd pair them with some carrot sticks or other veggies as well. x)

Yes, this will totally happen, LOL...I don't know what I'd do without a Whole Foods nearby. I love the bakery especially, can't find a decent high fiber bread without searching high and low everywhere else ya go!

is Whole Foods just a grocery store or what? I hear alot about them and i dont even think theres one in my state..:( ?
Yep. Whole Foods is a natural grocery store; and a bakery, and a lunch bar, and a meat-market, and... so many wonderful things packed into one building. If you don't see one near you, look for Wild Oats - they're owned by Whole Foods.

I wish there was a Whole Foods nearby me. They're in CT where I went to college but we don't have anything like that around Albany, NY (closest one is over an hour away). The turkey chili they have at Whole Foods is great. I was craving it a few weeks ago and ended up going to Wendy's because it was the only place I knew would have chili for sure.

I started to prep turkey chili at work the other day and it turns out it is super healthy! Nothing but peppers, onions, garlic, tomato, ground turkey (dunno what kind we get at work, i'm always skeptical of what we get, lol), and nice spices. I can get the recipe and post it if anyone's interested. We're serving it today MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, can't wait Laughing

Yes! These are amazing and soooo filling!! They do have other flavors. I believe another one is cranberry apricot, but I don't think it is as good as the blueberry. And they are regular sized, if not large muffins. My roommates and I usually cut them in half. They come in a container of 4.
i shall be visiting whole foods!
