Deserts anyone?
Hey does anyone have any low calorie deserts that are good? I don't like to deprive myself but at the same time i don't want them to be like between 300 to 500 calories.

- Fat free/sugar free chocolate pudding with fat free whipped topping
- Fat/free/sugar free vanilla pudding with a couple slices banana and fat free whipped topping (kinda like banana cream pie!).
- Sugar free jello and fat free whipped topping -- can add fruit.
- Make a box of brownies only substitue the egg(s) for egg substitute (ex: Egg Beaters), and substitute all natural (no sugar) applesauce for the oil (I double in applesauce what they call for in oil -- so instead of 1/4 c. oil use 1/2 c. applesauce).
100 calorie snack packs ... mmm oreos or chocolate chip cookies
2 tbls. CoolWhip Free, and 5 strawberries. It's good and sweet and only about 35 calories!!!
Fruit. But serve it differently so its more desserty.
Eg. freesze mango cheeks and then when ou want it, just blend up. Taste slike sorbet. Do the same with tinned pineapple, frozen in its juice and its like real sorbet/slushie. Try bananas, freeze, break into chunks, add a bit of milk, or water, and whiz (magic bullets do this well, so do stick blenders) Instant healthy banana icecream. Add some swiss miss diet for a chocolaty twist.
Canned pie filling (no sugar added) peach apricot or apple, is super low cal. Heat, Top with your fav low-fat granola or some baby custard and instant tasty healthy dessert. Maybe add some banana "ice-cream"
Or just try adding frozen blueberries to things like diet jelly
Diet jellies rock. Make with 1 c water and 1 c diet coke and its super sweet and gives the lime and cherry flavours a good 'kick'.

i defrost some raspberries and top with coffee yogurt
Easiest: instant vanilla pudding made with skim milk. 132 calories, only a trace of fat per 1/2 cup.
Not too difficult: Tapioca pudding made with half whole milk and half skim milk (or split the difference with 2% milk if that is what you have on hand). 125 calories, 2.5 g fat per half cup. You can make it with completely skim milk, but it's not as rich.
More elegant (you can even serve it to guests; my daughter requested it as her birthday cake): Raspberry English Trifle Cake (I got it from an old edition of Fast and Healthy Magazine): see recipe at http://www.calorie-count.com/recipe/25097.htm l on this website. As a bonus, the raspberries are a good source of fiber and Vitamin C.

Giffords Low Fat Frozen Cappuccino Yogurt 110 Calories for 1/2 cup. It has little crunchy cappuccino candies in it...yummm
you can make a cake with just a can of diet soda and a box of cake mix. This way you need no eggs or butter / oil. I use cherry diet seven up and yellow cake mix. I make little cupcakes so the portions are just right. If I need a little extra, I eat it with fresh raspberries and SF, FF cool whip.
Gotta try it, if you aren't apposed to artifical sweetners, that is. It really works :-)

Peanut butter balls are rich and chocolatey. To make a serving for one, I'll mix togehter a tbsp of peanut butter, a tbsp of honey, 1.5 tbsp nonfat powdered milk, and .5 tbsp cocoa powder (the baking kind.) Higher in sugar than most recipes but yummy!
Wow these do sound good thanks!
I guess I'm lucky to consider an apple or half a banana a dessert. Try cutting up different fruits and adding some cool whip and sprinkle some cinnamon.
Try freezing chocolate whipped cream - it tastes JUST like chocolate ice cream to me, only lighter! Add a bit of this to fruits, dip 100 calorie pack cookies in, or eat alone (sparingly!).
Also, I have a chocolate fiber powder from Citrucel that is AMAZING. I had a snack of frozen blueberries, dipping each in the powder, and it was AWESOME. One scoop has only 50 calories, and lots of fiber. You could put this in a fruit smoothie to make it very chocolatey without adding many calories.

Cadbury Thins are really yummy 100 calorie chocolate bars. They would be a good dessert if your in the mood for some packaged sweetness.
There's cappuccino yogurt???? Oh my goodness, how have I never seen this? It sounds amazing!!!
You can also try the Pure Fruit Bars (fruit and cream bars) from Breyers the mixed berry bars are 60 calories and the tropical bars are 45 calories
skinny cow ice cream sandwiches--mint flavor is really good. 140 cal and 1.5g fat
Hi
I slice banana lengthwise and cut off tips leaving peel on. Put on a grill I use goerge forman, it doesnt take long maybe 1 min. I don't time it. Take it off and it should slip easily out of peel. Then I drizzle 1/2 a TBS or less of raw honey over slices, omg its so good that I can only do this with the last banana in the house or I will eat them all.
