I don't mean to sound harsh, but you need to get out of your system that you are too lazy to exercise because nobody can help you if you're too lazy to make yourself exercise.

Now, You do not necessarily need a gym membership to work out. Your school should have a field where you can do some running before/after school. You can also go to your nearest park and do some walking and jogging. If you can't drive to your school/park, get your parent/friend to accompany you and/or drive you.

Of course you can diet and lose the weight you want, exercising just helps it move along a little faster. You shouldn't try to crash diet or cut your calories too much because it will only jeopardize your weight loss efforts (I know, I've had the experience) and it's not worth it because it'll only make you depressed. Find out how much calories you burn a day, how much you need to have a day and start your calorie counting if you haven't already!

It's great that you want to lose the weight, and you can use your envy of being as slim as your friends as your motivation to exercise. I know I do ;)

Good luck!

On another totally unrelated note, you mentioned that there's a lot of kidnapping in your country...where are you from?

i'd say keep in mind "quantity not quality".  If you're lazy or its just hard to eat right, that's understandable.  if you eat at mcdonalds, get a small instead of a large.  keep portions small- about the size of your fist- and save the rest for later.

and well exercise is part of it... even simple stuff like walking to school (if its a mile or less away), some ab workouts in the morning.  it doesn't have to be a lot, just enough to keep you active.

my school sucks..the field is in such a horrible state that we have to do sports in a UNI..no friends that lives nearby and my mum works..

well i don't eat fast food lots..just once in a while..i used to eat it once a week but now only once a month..i cut out most junk food..most of the thing that i eat is fruits till my friends said too much fruits can cause diabetes cause they contain sugar..now,i have no idea what can be eaten..plus i ate a packet of fried chicken+ potatoes rice though i 'threw' some into my brother's pack.

PS :

themeofpaganini

i'm from malaysia..lol..i'm in kl too..know the stuff about nurin and sharline and some other kids?nurin  was kidnapped around 5km near my house..poor kid

I just *knew* you were Malaysian!

I messaged you privately, so check your inbox ;)

You should try to not only eat lots of fruits, but eat as many veggies as possible.  Also, your exercise situation.  Try exercising in your bedroom, do 30 minutes of stretching everyday, also do 3 sets of 15 lunges on each leg, squats, touching your toes, and push ups, and sit ups.  That should take 45 min. If you do that every other day, trust me you'll feel the difference in day, it really works your muscles and will make you sweat.  Great home work out!!

thanks..i'll try to find some time..being in science stream is not easy..nah,thats just a lie..haha..
