Desperately needing to lose weight
I've been on this site for a while and have managed to lose 20 kgs in 2 years. I was 84 kgs, and went down to 59 kgs.
However, recently I've slipped.
I started eating small amounts of pasta and bread, which lead to an eventual weight gain.
I am now 65 kgs and my legs and arms look really flabby.
I desperately need to lose the weight during these next 2 months, I have 2 major events coming up in which i need to look my best. One in the beginning of June, one in July.
How do I go about this?
I'm willing to do anything to lose 5 kgs fast!
Fast, not sure about that...but just get back to limited pasta...that is a killer for me, lots of lean protein and veggies, and get moving...you will lose it again.
My friend told me about some clinic which attempts to do cellulite massages and something called vaccuming (I'm not completely sure what that means), plus electric stimulants to losen the fat molecules in your skin. Apparantly it helps metabolise fat better, but it's an extremely painful process.
I am willing to do it if it gets results, but I need to know if it actually DOES help lose weight.
Vaccuming?? hmmmm... Not sure about that. Sounds like a fluke! Your best bet.. and most important, monitor your calories/carbs/protein.. make sure youre making healthy choices. Physical activity/exercise is secondly most important. There's no overnight cure. You can lose the extra 11 lbs- just be happy its only 11 :) EASY! Start now! spread out your meals if you find you tend to get hungry every few hours (thats what i do).. incorporate lots of steamed veggies/salads to help give you a sense of fullness. Feel free to contact me if your needing a nice kick in ***! :) Be happy to help anytime.

I agree with Mia. Get back to counting your calories, lowering your intake based on your BMI and upping your exercise so that your burning more than you eat. It's a science, there's no gimmick about it. Even though you need to lose the weight in a short window of time, I wouldn't do anything too drastic, it'll just backfire in the long run. Get yourself on a steady cardio kick, like a vigorous 30+ minutes a day (running/cross training), that'll help you drop pounds. Lifting weights would help the flab, of course, but it may also make you gain muscle weight which often messes with your head when your goal is to lose weight. I recommend it because it'll tone you up, but it all depends on what is more important, immediate weight loss or an overall fit body. You most likely want both, but in two months you may not see the results you want so set a realistic goal. If you want an overall thin, go with extra cardio and other heart pumping/sweat related exercise. Good luck!
